CELTIC will push ahead with their pre-season preparations with three warm-up games against French opponents.

Neil Lennon’s side will take part in the Veolia Trophy at the Groupama Stadium in Lyon, playing Nice on Thursday – with a 5.15pm kick-off – before taking on the host club and former favourite Moussa Dembele at 7.45pm a week tomorrow.

Then on Tuesday, July 21, the Hoops head to the French capital to take on Paris Saint-Germain in the Parc des Princes at 6pm.

In a statement on the club website, the champions club remind supporters there will be no tickets available for these games and there will only be limited invitations made to local fans.

Celtic fans are asked not to travel to Lyon.

The Hoops were in France last season when they gained a 1-1 draw with Rennes in the Europa League Group H game when Ryan Christie scored the goal with an expertly-taken penalty-kick. The game endedon a controversial note when substitute Vakoun Issouf Bayo was red-carded.

Neil Lennon’s men won 3-1 in the return game in Glasgow.
