ALISTAIR JOHNSTON makes a surprise return to first-team action as Celtic prepare to face St Johnstone at Parkhead this afternoon.

The Canadian World Cup right-back has missed the opening three games of the season with an ankle problem, but gets the green light from Brendan Rodgers to make his comeback against the Perth club.

South Korean Yang Hyun-jun is also making his first start for the champions with four players – the injured Maik Nawrocki, Anthony Ralston, Odin Holm and Liel Abada dropping to the bench from the side that lost at Rugby Park last weekend.

As expected, Liam Scales partners Gustaf Lagerbielke in the middle of the hosts’ rearguard.

TEAM: Hart; Johnston, Lagerbielke, Scales, Taylor; O’Riley, McGregor, Turnbull; Yang, Kyogo, Maeda. Subs: Bain, Haksabanovic, Abada, Holm, Kwon, Iwata, Bernabei, Forrest, Ralston.

Earlier today, we asked how much you could remember about recent encounters against the Perth club in CQN’s fun five-minute quiz.

Now we repeat those questions and provide the answers.

MATCHWINNER…Giorgos Giakoumakis claims the points-clincher in Perth in October last year. (See Question1).

1: Who was the stoppage-time goal hero as the Hoops grabbed three points in the 2-1 win at McDiarmid Park in October?

2: Two Celts claimed doubles in the 4-1 victory over the Saints at Parkhead on Christmas Eve. Can you name them?

3: Which Celtic player was red-carded in the same game?

4: Which Hoops star, no longer at the champions, was among the goalscorers as the visitors won 4-1 in Perth in February?

5: Bizarrely, a St Johnstone defender put through his own goal twice in separate games to score for the champions. Can you remember his name?

2: Kyogo Furuhashi, Reo Hatate.

3: David Turnbull.

4: Aaron Mooy.
