CONFIRMED: NAWROCKI STARTS, NEW BHOYS ON STAND-BY

0

NEW Bhoys Nicolas Kuhn and Adam Idah will have to wait for their first start as Brendan Rodgers named them among the stand-by squad to face Aberdeen at Pittodrie this afternoon.

The Hoops boss will start with Maik Nawrocki in place of the injured Cameron Carter-Vickers in the heart of the rearguard and the Irishman resisted the temptation to move Liam Scales to the problem No.3 slot.

Alexandro Bernabei will kick off his second game of the campaign in the left-back position in place of the crocked Greg Taylor.

The champions have already beaten their opponents twice this term, 3-1 in the north east in August while enjoying a rollicking 6-0 success at Parkhead in November.

TEAM: Hart; Johnston, Nawrocki, Scales, Bernabei; Bernardo, McGregor, O’Riley; Abada, Kyogo, Palma. Subs: Bain, Ralston, Welsh, Kuhn, Idah, Holm, Vata, Kelly and Forrest.

Earlier today, we asked you how much you could remember about recent encounters against the Dons in CQN’s fun five-minute quiz to test your knowledge.
