FRENCH legend Zinidine Zidane has reassured his countryman Moussa Dembele he WILL get a chance at full international level.
The Real Madrid manager is an admitted admirer of Celtic’s 32-goal hitman who made the Under-21 breakthrough this season.
Dembele, 20, has played four games at that level and was tipped to step up to the top squad for the forthcoming games against Luxembourg and Spain.
However, national coach Didier Deschamps has overlooked his claims on this occasion.
But Zidane said: “It is natural to be disappointed, but his chance will come.
“France has very high quality attacking players at the moment — and there is only room for so many at one time.
“If he carries on playing like he is for Celtic, his chance will come and it will not be far away.
“I am in regular contact with Didier and I know he is a player he is monitoring closely.
“He should not think because he is playing in Scotland he has not been noticed because that is not at all true.
“He is a natural goalscorer and his international career, I am sure, will be a long and successful one.”
