DOUBLE-ACT HEAD FOR HOOPS EXIT

KRISTOFFER AJER and Olivier Ntcham could be on their way out of Celtic within the next five weeks.

Representatives of the Norwegian international centre-back and the French midfielder have asked the Hoops’ hierarchy for valuations of the players, according to a report on Sky Sports News.

Neil Lennon revealed after the midweek Champions League exit against Ferencvaros that some players had spoken to him about a desire to quit the Parkhead club.

The fuming gaffer, who had just witnessed the side’s third European elimination in just over a year, insisted he would not stand in the way of anyone who wants to play elsewhere and emphasised he only wanted players committed to the team in his squad.

Ntcham joined the Hoops from Manchester City in a £4.5million deal in 2017 and has made 73 league appearances, scoring 12 goals.

Ajer, who was signed by fellow-countryman Ronny Deila from FK Start in 2015, has become one of the team’s most consistent back-four performers over the past year.

AC Milan expressed an interest in the versatile 22-year-old star last summer.
