Efe strolled through this game, seemed to barely break sweat, like watching Cary Grant in an evening suit.
pfayr.. its a huge boost for a long term injury victim to get his feet back on the park. that 2 mins for the big guy will mean the world to him. however, no idea why balde gets put on for 5 mins here and there.
Decent result but nothing more. Our league opponents are hopeless. Bring on the foreigners. Always good to win though.
Very happy with that performance.
Disappointed in Dundee United. Quite a few over-the-top tackles on Celtic players that could have caused lasting damage. They were very lucky to finish the game with 11 men.
Efe was my man of the match for his entertainment value alone.

Superb performance from Celtic.
Neil Lennon wasn’t kidding when he said his team selection would be based on wanting to win the game, and he proved again that he knows his playing squad best. If Sammi’s issue is financial, I hope we can solve it.
Beram Kayal walked the talk and put in an immense defensive midfield shift Celtic did not have a failure in a side where even captain Skoosh took full the back roll in his stride.

I thought we played well today especially in the first half. Wouldn’t have chosen Sammi or Kayal but both excellent in my opinion. United atrocious in first half but MacKay Steven gave them something – though I didn’t see what young Gauld brought to their party. Over hyped?
Actually didn’t think Thomson was too bad though a bit lenient with some of the tackles.

Didn’t say he was good value overall, just said he was good today.
That was an enjoyable game to watch and our professionalism won the day. We played some neat stuff today in spite of the changes.
I was impressed with Armstrong of Utd and Gary McKay Stephen is a dangerous player he will give Sevco real problems if he is not targeted early on.
Neil Lennon would like to keep him.
