Will settle for a draw in the circumstances. Trebles don’t come easy no matter how often you talk about them. Jimmy McGrory/Bob Kelly never won one, nor Davy Hay or Billy McNeill, nor Neil Lennon or Gordon Strachan who all won titles. Jock Stein and Martin O’Neil are the benchmarch for any Celtic manager. Even so we are still in with a chance. Not sure if and how a new pitch at Hampden can be ready for next Sunday, need to wait and see. Hope too our own pitch will spring back to life when Spring arrives, winter appears to have taken its toll. Main point being we aint won anything yet.

Griffiths might not be the answer to our striking problem but at least he seems to have bought into the style of play Ronny wants more than can be said of Stokes.Football would be better played on an artificial surface if this is the best United can come up with. The paying customer is being cheated watching football on this kind of surface

It has been a while since Stokes played as a striker. His goal scoring record at Celtic really isn’t that bad. Agree that his playing style doesn’t seem to fit into RD’s game plan but baffled why he was taken off to be replaced by JG who was considerably worse.

Interesting to see what action(s) the Compliance Officer takes over today’s incidents. Also there will probably at least one appeal, and there will be suspensions for the coming games.
Johanson and probably VvD will miss the replay, but VvD could also miss next week’s final if it’s violent conduct.
KC reckons we are close to having Lustig, Mulgrew plus Matthews (and himself) fit for at least some of the games.

This is NOT a treble winning team – not treble winning players – THERE WILL NOT BE A TREBLE
Dundee Utd is what St Johnstone is – a dour team with no real flair – but good enough to nullify this faltering team of ours – looks like the Inter tie was the highlight of the players season – last two games they have been merely been going through the motions.
I am gutted to say these things, but there has been enough evidence over the last two games – the team has peaked and is now way off the boil.
With cup games, possibly four, if we are lucky, interspersed with league games, and with injuries and suspensions – we may also just take our eye off the league games in the run in – shaky shaky times indeed.
....PFayr supports WeeOscar on
Commons was in an impossible situation as a current player
He would find himself in bother if he made comments deemed unacceptable
If you want to do a James Forrest watch on todays game you would be hard pushed to justify it as a poor performance
How many passes misplaced? How many times was the ball lost in the tackle? How many times did he fail to track back? How many times did he telegraph coming inside rather than attack the outside?
These are the traits which constitute evidence in the games where he has been poor.
When he is making passes, beating men on the outside, tackling back, and coming out of tackles with the ball more often than not then he is, at least, average but only if you are churlish or inclined to stick to your opinion whether evidence justifies or not
