It was Lurgan 53 who referred to Tony Mowbray as Anton Mor. Lurgan 53 was a respected poster who sadly died from cancer. There was discussions on the blog around what abbreviation people could apply to Mowbray after we had MON and WGS. Someone mentioned BTM, big Tony Mowbray. An Irish poster jokingly translated big Tony to Anton Mor.

So does
Barkas, get a chance ? Or do we need a new Goalkeeper
Kenny, loan expires, most certainly need a new right back ( as we have for past 2 seasons since Lustig left)
Ajer & Duffy will go – we need at least 2 new Centre Halfs
Laxalt & Boli can go, we need a new left back ( accepting Taylor as our standard, is part of reason we find ourselves where we are at, in my view)
Will Brown retire, will McGregor go ? Elyounousi can, as can Rogic, will Soro make it
We need at least 3, for midfield
Odsonne will go, so should Griffiths, will Ajeti get fit enough and show effort ? So we need 2 new strikers
A new management has some task to deal with, a rebuilding job
Yip we are a well run club
NorrieM on
Oops forgot about Christie, can also go, as can Bitton

For those in any doubt about double standards, just ask yourself what the reaction would have been to us taking over George Square? There would have been howls of protest, the club would have been cited for not trying to quell their own supporters and the polis would have forced to intervene for the public good.
Loving seeing Liverpool implode. Turncoat bastard club
*whit, John Houlding was not an ordinary Freemason, he was a ranking Mason who had attained the highest rank in freemasonry, 33° of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Right.
He was the founder of numerous Masonic Lodges in various manors of Liverpool, including the Anfield Lodge 2215.
He recruited three other Masons to constitute the first six directors of Liverpool FC – in fact between 1982 and 1914 fifteen of the twenty three Directors of Liverpool FC were Freemasons.

Ps was thinking if growing up anywhere else in the World, would i have witnessed any such cheating as allowed to rangers (RIP) and sevco?
*naw nae chance, as I tried tae point out yesterday after Wullie Maley bullied them during WWI, which only lasted 4 out of 5 seasons it wisnae going tae be allowed during WWII even though naebody knew how long this conflict would go on.
It has been claimed that we should surrender the 1914/15 league title to runners up the calvinists even though they were 4 points and 15 goals behind us that season as many of their first team were part of the 16th Battalion Royal Scots until it was pointed out that many of the their players never actually left Edinburgh but were involved in “military training” and available to play on a Saturday.
For all their superiority a strong Hibbees side put them in their place as we were rebuilding in the late 40s early 50s.
So we shouldnae be surprised that they have been favoured during this “war” against a silent enemy.
As I said even though they had pledged their club tae the craft they couldnae bully William Patrick Maley, we were only a couple of months intae the 2nd world war when he was unceremoniously let go and never set foot in the park again for 13 years as the club embarked on a Corinthian spirit refusing to bring in loan players including the great Matt Busy who would have ran through brick walls tae don the hoops.
Ironically after he returned we won the “said lizzie tae philip” as well as our first double in 40 years.
IMHO if it hudnae have been for Covid we would have won the ten no matter how many obstacles were put in our way, aye even with Lenny, let’s not forget if the last one had been played out tae its conclusion, slippy, beale and the other loud mouths would have been well back down the road.
Why when the glorified melwood tea boy was contemplating the Bristol job did beale tell him tae hang around, what did he know we don’t.
It’s not just a new manager we need but a force in the board room that’s willing tae stick up for the club as Wullie, Jock, big Billy, Mon and even quiet mhan Davie Hay did.

Rangers have won 55 titles. If you don’t believe me just ask peter lawwell.
Will Peter be a future president of the SFA. A reward for services to rangers. Just like Bob Kelly and Jack mcginn.
The organisation that could have most simply and effectively prevented the hun hordes’ gathering in George Square was Celtic FC.
Good leaders try to leave their organisations stronger than when they were when they took over. In football, as in other competitive businesses, this is relative to your main rivals.
In Glasgow football, this is relative to the other team.
Today, Celtic’s failure of leadership is complete. Having done so, despite having resource advantages for a decade that predecessors could only dream of, is monumental.
Burnley – they are policed to different standards, they are treated differently in relation to covid guidance for their players, they don’t have onto produce proper accounts, they can delay their tax bills, no red cards, penalty kicks galore.
They are truly Cheats FC.

doesnt apply to PLCs where leaders just make sure they leave the company an order of magnitude richer than when they arrived
the state of the company, staff, customers etc is way down their list of importance

wonder if the police will ”kettle” the fans at Georges Square today

I wonder how many on the spot fines are administered for those

Sturgeon condems them by congratulation the acheivement first,
get ready for them fighting with each other, then polis will have to go in, I hope the horses are ready.
Total clear-out required — the tired / the time servers / the wage thieves / the deluded / the chancers …
They all have to go and once we have sorted out the boardroom / the coaching staff we can get onto the players.
It has been 33 months in the making.
But now it has happened — we have managed to beat ourselves.
We managed to beat ourselves and then we embarrassed ourselves.
We embarrassed ourselves and then we shamed ourselves.
The usual suspects — do you finally get it?
Can you now see the shambles we have become?
It will be a long way back — 6 months will not be enough.
