  1. Just fell out with z sevco family member as I said it was atrocious behaviour and no matter if it was Celtic, Rangers or Ayr Utd.

He said I’m a hypocrite as Celtic fans done it a few weeks ago, I said read the post I said it would be the same and it was a super spreader event.

Everyone in Royston is at ya Hypocrite he said.

The story will be that the police contained the situation yesterday and prevented widespread looting and violence…

Some will say they were only reinforcing Scotland’s cultural hegemony…

  3. DERMOTT , hat doffed sir , Natural order resumed.

NICOLA STURGEON has killed her dream of separation/independence

Celtic v Rangers next could very well resemble scenes of the 80 final …..hopefully our fans have the smarts to stay away .

AN TEARMANN on 8TH MARCH 2021 11:09 AM

    Is my position correct?

    I can’t prove it.

I can though detail the particular circumstances which individually and collectively have served to bring about what, on the face of it appears a literally unbelievable collapse by our football club.

It’s like what Lord Denning said regarding the Birmingham Six.

He refused to accept the possibility – describing it as “an appalling vista” – that West Midlands Police conspired to fit up six innocent men for a crime they didn’t commit.

I believe that the idea of the PLC conspiring to keep them alive is also such an “appalling vista” that many can’t even contemplate it, and that if evidence ever got out the consequences would be huge.

We could’ve stopped them by putting the hose in their mouth and turning the tap up to 11. Our PLC have evidently chosen not to on the basis our business model depends on them.

Everything that flows from that – including the resurgence of Hun triumphalism – is on our PLC.

  6. Shut down the laptop at full time. Beyond gutted last night.

Family in Glasgow sent me the news of the stuff in our dear green place. Sex acts in public being cheered on?

Maybe they really were so staunch they haven’t been able to do that for the last 10 years.

Ryan ‘Have You Seen My New X-Box’ Christie is gutted we lost the title.

Aye, so he is. Mercenary little shit. Be gone. Not a patch on the talent or character of CalMac or our ageing captain.

John Swinney will lead the briefing today from 12.15pm.

The deputy first minister will be joined by Chief Medical Officer Dr Gregor Smith.

There has been widespread condemnation of the crowds gathering to celebrate Rangers winning the Scottish Premiership and this is expected to dominate today’s briefing.

    STILL CELTIC

  11. Bbc scotland website drawing parallels with what happened in George square with the green brigade protest in November and Liverpool supporters celebrating their championship last year.

No mention of the violence and destruction. Only covid breaches.

I’m guessing the narrative that Celtic fans would have done the same will be increasingly aired as time passes. I must have missed our 9 in a row and 4 consecutive trebles street party, I was in the house with a beer and Celtic videos.

I’ve just been perusing the SPFL website. I went on it specifically to see how they addressed this “historic” title success. I was pleasantly surprised:

SOME OF THE NUMBERS BEHIND RANGERS’ SCOTTISH PREMIERSHIP SUCCESS

0 Rangers are unbeaten in their 32 Premiership matches in 2020/21. They have won 28 games and drawn four times – away to Livingston, Hibernian, Motherwell and Hamilton Accies.

20 Celtic’s 0-0 draw with Dundee United at Tannadice today means Rangers have a 20-point lead at the top, with only 18 points still available to play for.

11 Captain James Tavernier is the club’s top scorer in the Premiership, with 11 league goals. That’s one more than both Kemar Roofe and Alfredo Morelos.

24 Rangers have kept 24 clean sheets in the Premiership this season – 16 for Allan McGregor and eight for Jon McLaughlin. They have conceded only nine goals in 32 matches.

16 Rangers have won all 16 home games in the Premiership, scoring 47 goals and conceding just two. The champions’ next league match is away to Celtic on Sunday March 21. The post-split fixtures begin on the weekend of April 10 and the season ends on Sunday May 16.

32 Defender Connor Goldson has started every league game for Steven Gerrard’s side, with 32 appearances. Ryan Kent is next on the list with 31 starts and one substitute appearance.

So, there’s one very significant number missing! Hopefully, this confirms that The Rangers have indeed won their first title.

Perhaps our club, who proclaim ” One Club Since 1888″ and all that this infers, will today do the decent thing and congratulate our neighbours on their inaugural success?

DD is only interested in his bank balance.

He bought into us at SPL money — he wants to sell out at EPL money.

This is not his first rodeo — he has been here 3 times before?

To get us into the EPL — I don’t want to go — he needs a matched pair.

That is us and a functioning / credible TFOD2.

That is all that matters — titles don’t matter to him.

The go slow in 2009 in 2010 makes sense if they needed to win the league to stay solvent.

As noted — an appalling vista right enough.

And now we are at a place where if they can hang on until the CL group stages in Sept 2021 they might be a solvent unit after all.

    DD wants into the EPL.

If he needs a credible / solvent TFOD2 to get there …

Then guess what — he will work towards a solvent / credible TFOD2 no matter the cost to us.

The only other reason for this season was a TFOD2 betting scam.

  15. “Despite the coronavirus regulations and the prohibition of gatherings, our officers were faced with a very difficult set of circumstances as many thousands of supporters gathered to celebrate across a number of different venues.

“Our priority was public safety and this included reducing the risk of disorder, road safety and effective crowd management among the complexities of a vociferous crowd. This included established crowd control measures to prevent serious disorder in multiple areas and protect the public.

“An appropriate policing response was in place throughout the day and officers continually engaged and encouraged compliance with coronavirus regulations.”

Summary – we bowed to the mob.

  16. Gorbalstam- Exactly.

When pointed out that people could loose their lifes he retorted “yeez are just jealous” 😂

I ended up leaving the group chat as I then got told by my good lady to watch what I’m posting as to not upset him as he has been in trouble before.😂 Incidentally I left after giving him a piece of my mind the TWAT.

I still have 3 staff off with a similar incident a few weeks ago and 1 is serious.

  17. So wee Nic dodges the presser and Swinney congratulates the Huns again . .

“ The deputy first minister turns to yesterday’s events in Glasgow.

Mr Swinney congratulates Rangers on their success and thanks all the fans who celebrated at home and followed the rules.”

My blood is boiling at those corrupt arseholes in Holyrood today.
