    True. Thompson just confirmed that it is a Board decision. To make it a club decision would require a change to the Articles – and if it was changed they would also need to agree what majority would be required to carry the decision.

    How much is a visit from their travelling support worth? Would the sale of one player a year cover that? Cosgrave said on radio that St Johnstone made more from Bristol City than R’gers last year thanks to McInnes leaving.

     

    Develop talent and don’t pander to bigots and you may get families returning to games if they aren’t in town.

    I’m being patient because the Pandora’s box that is double contracts would be incredible leverage. I do, however, recognise that if the tribunal doesn’t come to a conclusion before a Newco is playing footy, that presents a problem that I can’t fathom.
