I can see Biton, Commons, Pukki and Griffiths all getting some playing time today. We have a decent sized squad so let’s use it. And we should have enough to keep our 100% start to the league season going.

No doubt the hideous Build a Bonfire will be heard today. This song could be straight out of the Sevco songbook. We regularly castigate the Huns for their vile repertoire and we’d be quick to jump on their case if they sang about ‘burning fenians’. Not taking some kind of moral high ground here, in fact how can you when the other lot are such an easy target. I’m very much pro GB and back them in their cause for some political expression (although a line must be drawn) and a safe standing area.
Songs of our culture and history are plentiful, as indeed are the modern witty chants that mock the club that died cheating. You cant beat terracing banter when its done right.
Unlike one particular club, we have never had a double album where the tracklist is dominated by titles and lyrics of hatred and poison.

I see the BBC are trumpeting their Match of the Day anniversary. Am I alone in thinking they should allotted at least 10% of its budget to Scottish Football. We, and I mean all of Scottish football, would probably be in a lot better shape financially now.
