ESTONIANS AWAIT HOOPS

CELTIC will face Estonia’s Kalju in the the second round of Champions League qualifiers – if they do not slip up against FK Sarajevo at Parkhead this evening.

Macedonian league winners Shkendija were expected to provide the opposition to Neil Lennon’s men, but they were stunned 2-1 at home thanks to a last-gasp winner from Liliu.

Shkendija won the first leg 1-0, but had to rely on a 62nd minute Agim Ibraimi goal to pull it back to 1-1 on the night after Maximiliano Ugge had fired the visitors into a shock lead.

But it was Kalju who produced the triumphant strike in the fading moments to secure an away goals passage to the next stage where they will almost certainly take on Scotland’s title kings.

The Hoops are leading the Bosnians 3-1 after goals from Mikey Johnston, Odsonne Edouard and Scott Sinclair in the opener last week.

If there are no mishaps, they will play the first leg in Glasgow a week tonight and the return will take place sin Tallinn ix days later with a 5.00pm kick-off.
