You could be forgiven for losing track of Scottish football issues of governance, accountability and oversight, there are so many fronts to engage on. On the heels of CQN approaching Private Eye on the subject of Resolution 12 (granting of licences to participate in Uefa competitions), the newspaper today wrote about the recent Offshore Game Report on the SFA’s dealings with oldco Rangers’ tax affairs, the SPL Commission into Rangers, as well as the awarding of Uefa licences in 2011.
This is what functioning oversight looks like. Organisations with a platform to analyse those in power do so. In the Scottish goldfish bowl, we import oversight from London, which makes accountability difficult and, ultimately, makes governance ineffective.
No review of the Nimmo Smith Commission will take place until the Supreme Court has had their say, but any hopes of accountability you have at that point will rest in interest in the matter from London. We simply don’t have the structures in place here.

Tiredness beginning to set in
Emerald Bee, allegedly , Rubentus , when they found out who the refs were for upcoming games, they had videos of the ref , what he clamped down on or things he was lax with.
Some say Conte pushes rules to the limit others say he is very professional.
Some one posted a few months back about some of us having a downer on Rubentus but next to the first team to play out of Ibrox , Rube are the biggest cheats in European football.
Fitness and concentration slowly becoming an issue.

These officials beside the goals do hee haw. They are in a better position than the ref occasionally to see what has happened in the penalty box but hardly ever have any impact.
