I’ve no fondness for Stuart McColl but I’m disappointed the wheels have fallen off Motherwell’s bogey this season. Delivering two consecutive second place finishes in a league populated with mostly better finances teams was exceptional. Over the last three years they have lost players instead of paying money they couldn’t afford, otherwise they would almost certainly be challenging at the top of the table.
I like Gordon Strachan. One of the things I like about him is he is almost impossible to get on-message. Talk about manipulating football in order to get the ‘right’ teams in the top division is ludicrous, Gordon knows this, or he wouldn’t have used a word like “manipulate”. On a substantive note, I think he’s wrong on this point.
The game changed when Rangers were liquidated, and it changed again when Hearts and Hibs were relegated. Fewer people buy tickets as there is not genuine competition for the league title, but some things we can do without.
Scottish football survived without the ticket money these clubs brought them, and the country’s streets, pubs and A&E departments have benefited from not having to cope with the sheer hassle we used to put up with.
I’ve enjoyed our four lower tier-only games this season, they were atmospheric and entertaining. If this was our future, I’d bite your hand off for it before I’d want to go back to the old ways.
Celtic, Motherwell, Aberdeen and the rest are defined on their own merits, and many of us are enjoying our football.

What a lot of Celtic supporters are looking for is affirmation and leadership.
Guys like Lawwell are paid to look after the business, their re-emergence provides opportunity to turn a coin.
Sadly many of our support have ceased to turn-up over the last 3 years. Consequently I can understand why the business wants them back.
It still sticks in my craw.

The question of old Huns or new Huns is doing what it was set up to do – uniting the Huns in denial and setting us against each other in asking everyone and their granny to denounce them as two different clubs. I have moved on – I wanted the SFA, Pistol Pete and others to tell the world the truth but my opinion changed at the weekend when Donald Findlay told them. For me that was my road to Damascus moment…..if I get a ticket for the game I will go and will Celtic to thump them, just as I do in every match, no matter the opposition.

Have refrained from posting this but hey, anyway, i have no need for anyone past or present from our club to make anykind of statement regarding them…but it would be nice…just once, just one time , somebody, ex player or ex manager to come out and say what a large part of the support think…but i wont hold my breath…..just like we had explayers coming out supporting bitter together..but not one coming out in support of YES.

The hun cheated my club out of trophies and millions of pounds in the process. I attended games for a decade in a competition that was ultimately rigged. Ogilvie knew the huge risk his old club was taking.
For the Celtic board to say ‘no’ they are not a new club (which they wont anyway) would mean they are complicit in the biggest lie ever which stemmed from the biggest British football crime ever.
I would not go back if it was a ‘no’.
Thats how much it means to me, and from what I read on here, many others.
