    Point I was making was that your sky/ bt commentators wax lyrical about the amazing assist stats of Robertson and Trent Alexander. Our two boys are only one assist behind, until yesterday to misfiring strikers.

     

    As I’ve berated both Taylor and Frimpong since seasons start I thought I’d highlight the similarities. Just for fairness

    Pity there will not be a crowd at Celtic Park on Wednesday afternoon, can’t have been many of them since the Floodlights were installed during WWII, though there may have been the odd one I think, but no, it would have been an opportunity to pay tribute to Dundee United’s great manager Jim Mclean now sadly passed. And of course to have given our own Bhoys a supporting boost. Hopefully not too far into the distance until those days return. That said still looking forward to the game, but not beyond it.

    It was at how ridiculous these versions were, they couldn’t sign or dance!!!

    Mclean’s team was very good, always liked wee Graham Payne and Ralph Milne, Narey Hegarty Sturrock all good players. Hegarty was incredible in the air.

    there is no reason at all why 2000 fans couldnt be at celtic park on wednesday

     

     

    health risk = 0

     

     

    but the scottish government have already made it clear that they have no interest in sport nor appreciate the social positives of sport

     

     

    there are several sporting events where a very limited attendance could happen in safety but they have no interest in it

     

     

    even boris recognises sport as an important social event

    Back in the day one of the football comics had a strip about a “striker for hire”

     

    If your team were lacking goals you could hire this dude, at a price, for two or three games, just to get you back on track. (This was before bosman)

     

    Imagine a manager doing the same thing. He’d call himself a “football team consultant”

     

    Fat Sam would be worthy of that job.

     

    Lenny could call him, “Sam, need your arse up here for the next 4 games. Show us how to defend. We’ll take it from there”
