    Come on, big Tony Mowbray followed by Lenny, in my expert opinion was when you blew it. Since then you’ve just been trying to justify making a right james hunt of it.

     

    Did you think we were the worst team you’d seen in years when we were 2-0 up against fenerbache or winning away to ajax ?

     

    Obviously at the end of both games you had a gripe but when we were winning, what did you honestly think ? Go on go on go on, tell the truth

    The EPL needs a strong German coach/manager.

     

     

    Then again they could appoint Jamie Carraggggggher, but they would need an interpreter in the dressing room.

    No apology necessary at all, not yourself but some people (and I don’t know who they are) want the benefit of a bargain but then complain….hope AoW doesn’t think I have been speaking out of school, by the way I am £80+ a month for BT vision and was too scared to get the Kodi thing, am just glad I can work the remote…. AoW told me even a fool could work it, obviously he hasn’t known me that long

    I have come to the conclusion that our personal assessment of the current Celtic team compared to Celtic teams of the past is simply a projection of our individual personalities. That being so, it is futile to try to convert each other. Some enjoy being positive and some enjoy being negative (although it is more complex than that).

     

    Obviously, Jock Stein`s best team was probably the best Celtic team ever and Henryk Larsson a very special talent but, generally speaking, our memories are not as accurate as reality . Thinking the Past was a wonderful country makes the Present seem like an inferior place. If, many years down the Road, Celtic are struggling to win Leagues and Cups, I am confident that this Present will be remembered as a wonderful time.

     

    I genuinely enjoy watching the style of football Celtic are producing under Ronny Deila and, provided he is given support, I expect that enjoyment to increase over the next few years.

     

    Incidentally, it may well be that The Board are a shower of charlatans interested only in our money. It also might be true that they are not. For the moment, I will continue to enjoy supporting the Bhoys in Green and White.

    I made a similar comment but did not include Seeler (although I agree!). Funnily enough, it is only in the past month or so that I have noticed Griff`s spring-heeled, leaping ability.

    Brendan was doomed from the launch of that channel 5 documentary.. Good coach but he got dazzled by the stage lights.

     

    He needed a medium size job to get all the David Brent comparisons out of the way, instead he got himself all sidetracjked with the media spotlight. The new hairstyle, teeth, and resultant bidey in were all stepping stones to his sacking.

     

    For me , the writing was on the wall when we all saw his massive oil painting of himself above his fireplace in that fateful documentary.

     

    Liverpool are a club like our own, we need grounded people and we respect them. Brendan Rogers is a decent man who hopefully will learn from his mistakes. He is a good football coach so will continue to live well off his ability to do his job. He will do well to remember what brought him to his current position.
