Hartson late mea cupla

827

I’m sure Ronny Deila is delighted to have the backing of John Harton, now he doesn’t need it.  John’s attachment to the club is not in doubt, nor should a new manager want unquestioning support from anyone, but some clubs reach a point when they become unmanageable.  Influential voices collaborate with perma-upset media and fans to expose shoots of recovery to a winter frost.

The mea culpa, when it arrives, is often too late.

Save us from the click bait that is suggesting Craig Gordon is a ‘target’ for some or other English club.  Derk Boerrigter is interesting Real Madrid, honest, they’ve been watching him with the Development Squad.

I’ve been waiting for weeks on someone to ask the question: if a club accepts money on the condition that the lender has the right to appoint two directors, in the event the club removes those directors, do you reckon that would be a breach of the terms of the loan?

I’d be extremely worried if a well-intentioned, but nonetheless, baying mob chased away the last independent director of my club.  Many Germans celebrated the Armistice, thinking a conclusion to hostilities had been agreed.  Months later they learned the terms left them bereft of land, defensive capabilities, capital equipment, authority and self-respect.  What seemed like an end to the trauma only set in motion far greater horrors.

Our good friends at Magners have offered two premium seat tickets for tomorrow’s game at Celtic Park.  To win, email me the name of the team we’re playing at celticquicknews@gmail.com

Competition closes at 5pm tonight.  If you would like to help build a school kitchen for 909 hungry kids for Mary’s Meals in Malawi while entering the competition, you can donate £1 here.  Thank you.

  1. Cheers for the recommendations.

    Amputation is a current consideration.

  2. Tiny Tim…

Are you on medication for gout? If not get to the doctor. Meantime get a pack of frozen veg and wrap your toe in it. Also a good pain killer won’t go wrong. I’ve had gout since 1992 and have taken Allopurinol since then. This drug controls the uric acid that causes gout. You have my sympathy bud…..gout is bloody sore. All the best.

If you are asthmatic (like me) , put your foot up high and loads if water.

If you can’t get a prescription for diclo, Nurofen extra is half decent

    Same party.

Push comes to shove they sing off the same song sheet.

  7. Jonnyrambo67. People with views on extremes can often seem like they are saying the same thing. But that’s in the eyes of the viewer or listener and it’s important to really question your own views.

As for no one being out to get us. Well I dunno where to start with that. The snps told you they passed the OB act to equalise. To criminalise celtic supporters. As for the SFA? And referees etc? Wow that’s either an act of incredible trust or niavity or stupidly amd I doubt it’s the latter. I remember during the referees strike I was at a dinner in England at a business meeting. They were a nice crowd, I was the only scot. They gave me their (partial) view of how terrible it was that referees where going on strike. It was all celtics fault etc etc. I explained the incident at Dundee Utd. I explained that the referee had been caught lying and that it had snowballed from there. They were literally astonished.

It is remarkable now that any celtic supporter can’t see the simple truth from the evidence that surrounds you. The country is racist, sectarian and it’s institutions can’t help themselves.

Any of these things, whether it is the OB or the old there wasn’t a catholic good enough to play for celtic bear any external scrutiny. And yet it is perceived wisdom In scotland.

Being accepting of this isn’t the same as being reasonable. Not even close.

What age restriction is the child ticket?

I’m intending to take my 15yo to the final. At present I’ll be using two adult bronze debenture seats in main stand (celtic end). If my son can use one of your child tickets, then i’d consider a transfer of my two for one each of your adult/child.

It’s a bit convoluted and splits your three into a two and one. You can let me know what you think.

    JohhnyRambo,

What a refreshing contrast to the bizarre victim hood often on display here.

We were hard done by but things have progressed. It bemuses me that people kick Scotland because it is apparently a racist dump. Yet they get all misty eyed about Ireland, a country which also has racism and intolerance. ‘Racism’ is everywhere.

Anti inflammatory drugs can bring on asthma attacks. My doc won’t give me a repeat script because of it.

  18. Alfie Noakes I think you are somewhat missing the point.

Those landslide victories you mentioned were also part of labours downfall. The lurch to the right may have been necessary initially but now those policies are failed and labour now need to move to the left. Milliband has no idea or bravery to do so. I think scottish labour understand that……….but the SNP are pretending to be left wing. As I have shown. They are not.

But that’s the position Alfie and no amount of your shouting and purist nonsense will help….

Socialists are almost as boring as a Guinness purist, you know the type – they almost defecate if the poor sap behind the bar doesn’t pour it at the correct angle or they insist on droning on about other Guinness matters.

Tiny tim, i use naproxem and co codamol for my arthritis. both are effective for pain relief.

Going by the pain blantyre tim Has had to endure over the past number of years , any medication recommended by him will be effective.

If that no mark, frazer wright, isn’t playing tomorrow, less chance of our players needing pain relief after the game. However, his fellew non-applauder, murray davidson might stick the boot in.
