CELTIC will begin their bid for their seventh successive Premiership title with a home game against Hearts.
The champions, who went through all of last season undefeated, will raise the flag at Parkhead on August 5 against Ian Cathro’s side.
Coincidentally, the Hoops began the previous campaign with an encounter against the Edinburgh outfit.
A late goal from new Bhoy Scotty Sinclair, the first of 25 strikes in a fabulous debut term, gave Brendan Rodgers’ men a 2-1 victory at Tynecastle.
And the Scottish kings brought down the curtain on a captivating, all-conquering season with a 2-0 win over Hearts in the east end of Glasgow in May.
The first Glasgow derby against Sevco Rangers will be at Ibrox on the weekend of September 23.
The Premiership season will begin on August 5 with the last round of fixtures scheduled for May 12/13.
The winter break runs from January 1 to January 19.
