Hail Hail. Fantastic second half performance where we could have scored 7 or 8 easily enough. It was a penalty, Ryan Christie’s shot was over the line and his 3rd goal was a thing of Rogicesque beauty. I had to do a double take to see if it was him or Tommy Twinkle Toes.
Murrayfield is castle superior to Hampdump as a venue in all areas (apart from the distance) but hey-ho, another win there in December will do me just fine and dandy!

Good morning, friends from a consistently dry, crisp, icy, clear skied, deliriously happy and pleasant looking East Kilbride.
Apart from the obvious thanks that are due to our own team, I’m also delighted that Aberdeen have saved us from the non stop ‘Old Firm Final’ build up that would have raged non stop for the next 5 weeks. The less times we have to play Sevco the better for me.
Onward to Dens Park.

Hello again all you young rebels.
What a wonderful weekend for those lovely people who have
Celtic embedded in their hearts.
Our CSC inspired ” CHARLOTTS DAY ” event in the Publican bar
or Republican as i like to call it, was a massive success.
Over 200 people in for our auction to help the little 2 year old
with Angelmans Syndrome.
And with a whopping $ 28,000 collected i’m so proud to be a
Celtic man this day and every other.
The mum and dad of this wee girl were so overwhelmed by
the kindness and generosity of everyone at the event they couldn’t
even speak, and when told of donations online from some CQN’rs
they were dumbstruck that a soccer clubs supporters cared enough
about them to send money for the care and treatment this little
darling needs.
So big big thank you to those ghuys and ghals you know who you are,
we may not be European material these days but we’re still the world
champions in compassion and charity.
A rousing and very emotional rendition of YNWA at the end and there
wasn’t a dry eye in the pub
The Celtic family eh…..wha’s like us.

Just popped in to wish my cyber CQN Buddy, Starry Plough a very Happy Hoopy Birthday and while I’m no one to talk haven’t seen much of stalwarts like BT & Doc lately , finally BMCUW hasn’t posted for a few days,
Hope all 3 are OK & reveling in yesterdays victory.
Still absolutely buzzing from yesterday second half performance! I love being Hearts especially when they’ve been mouthing off:)) Ryan Christie take a bow son and share that champagne with your mucker Scott Sinclair and who else do you want taking a penalty in a pressure game like that one, great strike Scotty Bhoy.
Big Mik what can say, the mans a Tim through and through and every time his legs have gone he finds new one to put the huns or the minis to the sword.
Proper hunskelper!
The Orcs losing was just the cherry on the cake!
Spare a thought for this choob:)))

Nothing like a Celtic victory to get the ball rolling, I went straight out after our game, much was my merriment when I got home to see the huns had got gubbed tae!
Must admit when Sinky took the baw aff Big Eddie yesterday my heart skipped a beat, might have just been the angina playing up though.
But what a penalty Scottie bhoy, and my first words after cheering— never doubted him for a minute… ???

Superb day out in Auld Reekie and tales will be told….but one wee highlight was the gathering of the Celts across the road from Scotmid COOP as we made our way from Haymarket to the ground. It was there that I was initiated into the company of ‘Dragon Soop’ imbibers which explains why every time I meet a dragon it is pished out of its heid.
Anyway as you will see, where we congregated was surely an omen for how the day was to unfold….
It was great taking over the pub after the game, just up the road from the station. Jambos ‘huddled’ in a wee corner but not even a hint of trouble. As you say, a great day and even the travelling wasn’t too bad. Huge queue to get on the train at Queens Street but went down really quickly and same on the way back.

Good morning from a beautiful sunny but frosty North Staffs – Well done to the bhoys yesterday – stunning 2nd half performance. Glad to see we won’t be playing Sevco in the final – so well done Aberdeen.
After last week’s Camino exertions I was hoping for a quiet week – forgot it’s half term so got the grandkids for a few days – wouldn’t change it though.

Yesterday’s events and results could be a real watershed for the season. Hertz bubble burst – Naismith crocked for a month, Hibs will beat them on Wednesday, as we will on Saturday. Sevco bubble exploded. RM was carnage last night as the pennies crash to the ground. Aberdeen remain rubbish. Onwards and upwards from here.

WTF was that thing playing up front for them yesterday?.On loan from Roma !!!!!!!!!!!!.Looked like an extra from “The nightmare before Christmas”,or for older fans, the aptly named”Abercrombie the Zombie”.
Another fantastic days pleasure being a Celtic fan.

Just checked out our upcoming games. I’m a bit out of touch so a surprise to see we are playing Hearts again at the weekend. The big fright is December, 9 games in the month. The squad isn’t too big, it’s too small!

That was probably the worst Aberdeen team I have seen.Could not pass to each other, nothing up front, non existent midfield, only GMS,and the two CHs,who defended desperately at times kept them alive.
Many thanks for the wishes Bhoys, always great to be in the Celticverse on such days:))
Nakas I was Facetiming with the girls earlier, they’re back in Japan now, Mrs Starry found a job in Tokyo, a nice one for her and the wee yin is flying in school after her struggles here:))
So all good here P, me getting used to single life again:)) Will join them in a couple of years I hope!
MAH good to see you posting my friend.

Unbelievable that now we have Broony,Mulumbu,Ntcham,Eboue, all out at the same time. Our injuries, have been horrendous so far this season.Leaves us a bit weak in the sitting midfield area.Different tactics required by Brendan.Looks like Forrest,Christie,Rogic,Calmac,Sinky, with Eddie up front.Definitely thin on the ground. No more injuries please.

Yesterday was very satisfying on so many levels.
Hammering Levein and his cronies Naismith and MacLean, while wee Barry’s bhoy beat his deid team was the icing on the cake.
Thank you, Celtic.
Haven’t read back at all.
