Great performance today, that first counter should be goal of the season. Souttar will learn, had to laugh when he tried to intimidate Griffiths. Leigh promptly dispossessed him, humiliated him with a nutmegged and wrapped the game BY skelping the ball into the net.
Fair play to Neilson:
“We’re not far away. You’ve got to give Celtic credit who have quality players and we have to try to match that. Celtic have been the best team in the league and they deserve it “.

In the emotion of the moment, if there was a vote for Manager now I’d probably vote to keep Ronny but my head says we need a stronger more independent man who knows the Scottish game and won’t take shite from either Pedro or senior players. Mind ye I spotted Kris & Ronny in a huge after game embrace.

Did a wee spreadsheet one day when I was bored (retirement) and went through every competition we had played in; Glasgow Cup, Dryborough, Dubai etc etc.
65 if you only count the main ones (EC/League?SC/LC) but surprisingly we’ve picked up 32 others in the past 67 years since I was born!
Snap, i didnt think i would be as emotional as i am,

Well done the Glasgow Celtic – champions again :-)
And well done Ronnie on the achievement of your 2nd title in a row
Delighted for Emeraldbee and his cousin as well
Now, hers a wee story for today
it was 30 years ago yesterday I would have returned from South Africa ( for a month before finally returning the following year), Friday 2nd May, to head to St Mirren the following day and see us win the league
The following Friday my beautiful first daughter was born
So today I went over to her house to watch us win today, and next week will be at Celtic Park with her as we celebrate, not onl being champions, but her special birthday
Champion, just champion :-)

Well done The Glasgow Celtic, 5 in a row. Although Tanner reckons if Aberdeen can put 10 or 15 past us next week we could be under a bit of pressure in our last 2 games.
Great result at Tynecastle and hope Ronny has a great future ahead of him. Thanks Roony for 2 and sorry it could not be more.

Today the positives of the team were on show.
Gordon very good
Lustig was better but still guilty of ball watching
Efe some very strong defending but 2 lapses
Erik is a leader
Tierney remarkable decision making for one so young. Captain for me.
Roberts needs coaching
Brown has energy but needs more defined role.
Button again culpable for goal. Not suited to position.
McGregor a modern pass and mover will flourish with proper system/coaching
Kaz has shown something in last two outings if used properly an asset
Griff needs to go back to being team player and in right system will be even more prolific.
Subs did not have any impact but believe Rogic,Christie ,Allan .Armstrong and GMS all have more to offer than seen to date.
Congratulations to Delia,Collins and Kennedy.

Between 1949-1982 we played in 21 Glasgow Cup Finals – winning 11 and losing 10.
Stopped counting when the ‘Weans’ were competing for it – though I’m just as happy when they do win it (i.e. recent 4-0 .v. Deidco).
