    Totally agree!

Dear SMSM – conundrum for you.

How are you going to report this?

After Celtic being “embarrassing” in the CL this week.

After the nauseating reports of the Sevco win yesterday (hardly a mention of red card 60min or a win “in extremis”).

How are you going to balance it out now?

Still looking fwd to your fabled OF encounter?

I can tell you something, we don’t want to see Sevco darken our door.

If the heated balls mean we need to go to Ipox, we will go.

HOWEVER, EXPECT MORE of the SAME: SEVEN with NO REPLY!

We are on a completely different level.

WE KNOW IT – YOU KNOW IT.

I think Biton made a big difference today he was allways available to take a pass and he played some lovely passes to his team mates it gave Ledley confidence. However, there were no failures in the hoops side a great display away rom home. H.H.

  7. Hope the Huns get Dundee Utd or Aberdeen away. Kenny Miller doing the draw. One Hun every round it seems. Bound to get a home tie.

Anybody but us! Play nice! Away to make fish pie.

    Hail Hail!

Agree. Also gave the full-backs freedom to get forward. Don’t have to rely on ‘wingers’ to give width in attack.

  9. Surely we can give th ref bashing a break today.

Was never a penalty, the man is just hopeles but on a day like today he is irrelevant.

  10. I never want to play the zombleteens ever again.

I also firmly believe that if Celtic were to be drawn against The Rangers International, then The Rangers International would go through to the next round.

I hope some other mugs put them mugs out of the competition.

    No Firm suits me perfectly.

  16. I am just about to visit an old Celtic fan in hospital.

News of today’s 7-0 win will hopefully give him a much needed boost.

    It’s a pity he couldn’t witness that.

Mate commented during game that today just showed you dont need wingers to inject pace into a game, our line up and play today made the ball constantly move at pace, as I said a joy to watch.

Think of what we could do with a goal-scoring, poaching, strong, great header o the ba’, traditional 40 000 note striker !!!

We is blunt up front, blunt…

  21. Sandman.

Did I read you post that your last £1.50 was wagered on a Scott Brown double ?

Fair play to you and congratulations.

An inspiration to all us skint punters.

  22. CQN annual arrived this week, looks fantastic!

named on page 177 beside Big Jock and Sean Fallon

    That will do for me.

Well done to all the squad today,a fantastic performance played the Celtic Way.

    COYBIG!

  23. Wonderful today!!!

    Here’s the thing….

We CAN play this way against better teams…

    BUT….

When pressed and deprived of so much space….We will lose possession more often; our smart moves will break down more often; individual clever play will fail more often…

    AND…

We will lose faith in the system; will lose faith in ability to pass the ball and retain possession; individual players will be fearful of taking risks…

    THEREFORE…

We’ll punt; panic; lose shape and resort to sideways passing…

    SO…

The challenge to Lenny and the bhoys is to stick to the plan, accept the challenge and BELIEVE in yourselves and the system of play – always!

  26. Thanks to the Bhoys for the way they went about the business today. It cheered us all up no end after a long heavy week on here.

Did anyone else note that the interviewer before the game started today wished the Hearts manager ‘Good luck’ but did not say so to Neil Lennon? I guess we can do without wishes from the BBC.

  27. Thought it worth doing a BBC sportscene type highlights of the BBC match report (http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25074450).

“Neil Lennon’s side, who will hope the prospect of a league and cup double can serve as reasonable salve for a season that will be short of European competition”

“A 15-point deduction in the Premiership was accompanied by a transfer embargo that has left manager Gary Locke having to pick from a young, inexperienced squad and that was the telling factor on this occasion”.

“Their (Celtic’s) seven goals against Hearts did not include any from an out-and-out striker”.

Poor Kenny Crawford and BBC Sport Scotland are hurtin’

Hearts must have the oldest young team, with an average of 23, ever. Though not as old as the youngest rookie manager ever.

I noticed, but as both interviews were pre-recorded, and edited, we can’t be sure.
