Surely Neil must also extend the time he gives to Pukki and Amido on the pitch.mhemshouldmplaynthem together for at least 30 – 45 minutes of our games till the end of the season. I think they look like a good pairing.

    ‘Mon the Scotland!

    20-21 to Scotland.

    No free chips tonight… :-)

  3. That was a good match. Hearts competed well. I hope they can keep that team together for next season, though I fear that another skint team will “make them offers they can’t afford”.

Well done to big Fraser, Hadrian’s Wall. No wonder the Romans baled out.

We don’t need a transfer window to prepare for the CL qualifiers. Time to offer improved contracts to Fraser Foster, Efe Ambrose, Virgil van Dijk, Nir Biton and Stefan Johansen, with the proviso that they will not leave in the next window.

Aye but Rosemarys babies will have 14 players next year 3 of them dressed in black working like dogs to ensure things work out for the newclub.

Two very well taken goals, and good to see scapegoat Pukki getting one of them.

If we played in Old Reekie every other week the Bhoy Teemu would be on about 25 goals this season…

Many positives from what was, at times, a scrappy, untidy game.

Special mention to Fraser and his defence. Also the quiet control of Biton and Johannsen.

Griffiths’ goal was special, but equally, the combining of Balde and Pukki for the latter’s goal was the cherry on the cake.

That is the kind of combination required for away European ties. Strong at holding the ball and the pace and ability to finish.

Personally, I will be glad when all the shut out records are settled, as they appear to be a bit of an albatross and I thought that it affected our play in the first half.

Good solid result from Celtic magic goals from Griffiths and Pukki and an excellent defensive display from Foster ( record making goalkeeper ), and his central defenders. Biton and Broonie good combination too,

Good result from Scotland over Italy in an apparently well balanced game, great tries from Dunbar at no 13. However the really nerve racking drop goal to give Scotland their win is a wee Celtic guy from Cambuslang ! Well done Duncan Weir 21 -20 to Scotland !

C’mon Ireland those disrespecters of deference, Kearney to score first try assist from O’Driscoll (13). CYBIG
