    Hope Neil settles them down and brings order to the chaos.

    The defence are giving the ball away too often. Mulgrew and Rogne are playing the ball into an onrushing midfield.

    Scored too early, maybes aye, maybes naw, at least we have scored.

     

     

    After 10 mins I thought the only way they would score would be by our mistakes, and how we are not at least level god only knows.

    Wel, I can`t accuse CQN ers of judging by goals alone! Helsingborgs have been SLIGHTLY the better side and have created more chances. We have been nowhere near as bad as is being perceived on here. Nerves, I guess ( of CQNers, not Celtic!). KTF men.

    Stop moaning.

     

     

    Right now away from home we are winning and our keeper has made some good saves.

     

     

    This is the CL, not the SPL.

     

    This game means as much to them as us.

     

     

    Helsingborgs are better than every side in the SPL we play.

     

    They are at home.

     

    They have the home crowd.

     

    The referee is reacting to that crowd but not too badly.

     

     

    Celtic needed half time to regroup for the second half.

     

     

    I am delighted at this stage.

     

     

    45M negotiated and they haven’t scored while we have an away goal. Even if we lose this match we have the away goal that is so vital.

     

     

    They are a decent side but not an outstanding one.

     

     

    Our defense needs fixing but that is what HT is for.

    There defence looks as poor as ours, maybe we should bring another attacker on and take off Kayal ?

     

     

    Way things are going its only matter time they score.. I’d give hooper another 10/15 then bring watt on.

    We played (quite) well for ten mins. Big Fraser our best player – says it all.

     

     

    Poor ball retention, poor tracking back, Hooper isolated and looks unfit. Get Tony Watt on.

     

     

    Thank God for the away goal.

    Yes, need to work harder and keep our shape. That seemed to be going out the window in the last half hour. Great opening goal. They were on the rack, then we somehow got caught admiring our early work and took our foot of the gas. Lenny needs to have a serious talk with them now.

    usual disjointed mess, no shape, no leaders, no clue. we need some experince at management level. fed up watching this team not play like a team, strangers and again the players aren’t mentally ready, mistakes at a basic level. not good and this team (if) are guff. still 1-0. The unconvincing start to the season continues.

     

     

    not having a go but this isn’t good enough guys.

    Decide who’s playing where and what they’re doing whilst they’re there. Samaras deeper than Kayal and Brown????

    Better to be lucky than good sums up first.

     

    We seem to have no shape for attacking possession.

     

    In fact we don’t seem to have much shape at all.

     

    We seem only to have the mindset to defend.

     

    Helsinborg are very average and we are once again setting our game out in a reactionary fashion .

     

    We need the coach to be more proactive in his game plan

    We’re riding our luck. Forster worth his weight in gold right now…….literally.

     

    Our defence is like Swiss cheese.

     

    But…..we’re a goal up…..a priceless away goal……so,secondhalf, we need another one,and keep a clean sheet.

    I would put Lustig on for Kayal to shore up the midfield, and Izzie will have to sacrifice his forward runs to keep it more tight at the back.

     

     

    Crucial for the midfield to calm down and press them when they have possession

     

     

    hey but we are 1 up if we win by 2 goals Lenny can get the CL money early

    Brilliant start by Sammi and Commons to give us the away goal in 2 mins.

     

     

    But we have failed to control the midfield, our defence has looked uncertain and we seem incapable of retaining the ball or playing simple passes. Why are we constantly playing long balls which simply return possession to Helsingborg.

     

     

    Fraser foster has been superb. Now we need Neil Lennon during half time to play a blinder and transform our slack nervy amateurish performance into a professional confident game.

     

     

    Make no mistake, this performance is so far on a par with Braga, Utrecht & Sion. Fortunately Helsingborg are not at that level.

    Hooper is playing against the whole defence on his own, no one is supporting him, not Commons not Brown not Ledley, when Sammi breaks the midfield are still in our half…

     

     

    WGS nailed it about the midfield, a Lenny retweak at half time and we can do this, an away goal is like goldust gentlemen…

    I feel for the team tonight. So much hanging on this tie, plus the baggage of the away record. Scoring so early in a game like this – this is a whole new script.

    I try to like Kayal but he’s playing hide and seek….bit of a guiser. Flatters to deceive and then hides. Him and Broonie need to get it together and decide where they should be playing.
