The CB issue is a strange one.
With Josh Thompson released to play for Portsmouth (that’s a heavy hint to any player) I took it that we are:-
a) Hoping to get by with Lustig and Wanyama filling in for the Rogne/Mulgrew/Wilson positions or
b) We saw some promise in a youth player- God knows who? I can’t see any one ready for an extended CB spot amongst the promising players (Toshney, Fraser, Irvine) or
c) We will get another CB in- Not promising a transfer fee, mind.
When the Huns/sevco go up to lift the Ramsden cup we’ll be in
Milan,Barcelona,Munich etc…

Thought Charlie was much better in midfield than at CB last night.
He was turned awfully easily for the hand ball incident with Rogne covering for Charlie’s mistake.
Also thought we were better defensively when Kelvin came on. Is he turning the corner?
A bit croaky today, as are all the bhoys of the Malmö CSC who sang their hearts out in Helsingborg. Great atmosphere, great result.
Fait play to HIF fans, sang from beginning to end. Respect.
