Very happy with the first time score. As for the performance…hmmmmmm…
Well, we would all have taken a 1 -0 lead at half time .. but we are giving the ball away too easily and causing problems for ourselves. We need to retain it better and control the pace of the game.
They are not a great side but we are giving them chances and owe a lot to the big keeper who has saved us a few times.
Half Time Thank God. Terrible display but we are one up.
Hooper gives ball away in middle of out own half and scares us even more

The best and worst of Celtic in the first 45 with a real Jekyll and Hide performance.
A stunning early goal put a gloss on the first half but was nearly wasted time, and time again with poor defending and some complacent players.
Badly lacking a leader on the pitch, to put their foot on the ball and Fraser Forster shouldn’t be exposed the way he was.
Fortunately still very much in command of the tie, but if we repeat the first half Helsingborg will score.
One of the worst/best 1-0s I’ve ever seen.
How can we have 5 in midfield yet still look outnumbered
Never mind defence where the hell is midfield? They are storming through middle of park like its empty. When a header comes out no midfield to contest it, when we attack no midfield supporting where are they?

The thing is, their chances are coming from self-inflicted errors from us. It needs to be cut out or we will eventually pay.

Ah well, two positives to take from the first half, we’re still winning, and after that 45mins we won’t need to worry about other teams trying to sign any of our outfield players!
Don’t know what we can do to change things. The whole team, apart from Foster and Sammi, need to give themselves a shake. None of the others inspires confidence.
Midfield can neither retain possession when we have the ball nor track runners when we don’t.

Best thing we can say is that we have an away goal.

Simple defensive errors, failure to clear the ball , Izzy wandering forward leaving the channel vacant (we are defending that badly that Bedoya looks as if he can play ..and he is pants)
Nothing on the bench to change it save for Watt for Hooper and get him to work them hard

Great start then they came into it, they have three or four decent players and move the ball very quickly.
We need a lot more from our midfield we’re being over run in there, Kayal seems to have difficulty in playing defensive midfield and when he goes forward someone needs to cover him as we give the ball away too cheaply.
Hooper becoming more and more isolated up front which is a shame as they look shaky at the back…
The whole team will be getting a rocket I would imagine at half time, we need to work harder all over the pitch and regain our shape and composure..

I may end up looking ridiculous but we’ve got to HT with a one goal lead.
We can’t be as disorganised in the second half and I’m not convinced that they have the ability to do the hardest thing of all, put the ball in the pokey!!

Please god I hope so I think broony and kayal are struggling as for the defence……..your honour we don’t seem to have one!!!!!
0-1 and we really can’t play any worse, can we?
Young players showing their inexpierence but we are still ahead, Lenny will put things right in the dressing room at half time. Maybe Wanyama on?
All our probs are self inflicted.Started with Chas and spread.
Half time should give us a chance to regroup and gain control again.
Referee is a menace and only seems to card Celtic players. He’s worth the watching.
By the sounds of it Kayal is ineffective…
