    My future wifes 19th birthday, but I got a pass to go to the game cos she was on a backshift, and i treated her to a weekend in embra. on the saturday.

     

     

    i went on train because i was in glasgow at CBP and went straight from queen street,

     

     

    after match huge rammy at waverly with the emerging hibs casuals who attacked polis, the queue , and anything in front of them, including the dugs.

     

     

    ran up round, well chased up, the big road the busses parked on and got let on one of the last departing ones, going to springburn,

     

     

    got to townhead and off bus, ran to central, last train home, into the port nae money left, nae busses, knew owner of station taxis, but door locked, walked up barrs brae home after 1am, and work in blairs in the morning.

     

     

    youths are daft.

     

     

    as a wee reminder we had a great weekend in embra, where i suprised my lady with an announcement about 2pm that seen as we were the st james side of princes street i would just go the game and let her go to the shops.

     

     

    after the game another mental rammy on easter road and the gardens at the top of the hill, i got back to the hotel like seven o clock.

     

     

    i think she spoke to me again the next tuesday.
