Killie dividend for torturous ESPN attacks

1056

It is very good news that Kilmarnock fans have voted to give Celtic three stands for next weekend’s game which will see the league title won if Celtic earn a point.  As a result, several thousand more Celtic fans will be able to attend the game and avoid listening to their club being belittled as they watch ESPN.

I hope Neil Lennon continues to speak in forthright terms when his team is undermined.

Definately got to go, if you have’nt been before, you will feel better for doing so. Took my family over for my 40th in 2007, would not have picked anywhere else in the world to be at that day. The memories and feelings I will take to the grave.

  3. Going back to some of the technicalities/legalities which at some point over the past 6 weeks I thought I understood but now can’t remember…

Paul Murray, as ex-director of Rangers. Does this mean that he would not be considered fit and proper? Is there something which precludes ex-directors of old-CO from being involved in newco – which in fact proves it’s not a newco at all?

  4. Smashing milk bottles,

Fair point but at least I can survive beyond 9.30pm drinking!!!! Your well past your prime. You might think your a teenager but reality is you were in your bed by 9.30 and you now need a week abroad in the Sun to recover. :)

That’s my thinking too – not fit & proper person due to previous involvement. I wonder how he’ll get around that – if at all.

  6. Jeez this crisis is never ending…

My mate has been panic buying diesel

So far he has 8 new pairs of jeans, 6 new t-shirts and 4 bottles of aftershave

  7. I posed a question earlier in the blog, no help yet.

Could anyone please let me know where I might watch the game on Saturday in Madrid ?

They want their money back – that’s what they do and that’s a more than credible view of how they want to get it.

There will be pieces coming through this week but they are unlikely to have the impact of Friday’s report – how could they have?

But be patient, there are many avenues to explore…

Funny, everyone you speak to knows of the Celtic of 67! Been at our office today, right next door to the Benfica stadium! Will take a wander and see what bars there are, but need a fresh head for tomorrow. They dont start until 10am and estadio is only 10mins from here! It’s a must then!

Took my sons (14 & 10) to Estadio Nacional last summer. We walked staight in (you go through a gate into a courtyard then up a path and you’re on the running track). We were in tunnel, up where big billy got the big cup and on the pitch. Got photos of us in the goal where we scored, the bhoys were re-enacting the goals. Well worth a visit.

    Quite excited now!

  14. @alextomo: RFC’s problem’s simple – you need Gulf/Oligarch funding levels potentially before a ball’s kicked. No Sheikhs and no Ollies coming to Govan.

That is the post of the year …… We have been shafted fo decades, and we will continue to be shafted until they go out of business, and until the SFA become an independent governing body…… And we’re talking here about every other team in the SPL also …we have all been cheated by rfcia, and it will only go away when they go away…

I took the train from Estoril/ Cascais to Cruz Quebrada ( ?), about one mile walk to the stadium, you can just see the floodlights to aim for. The family of 4 were all kitted out in hoops kit and got a lot of cars pamping etc, They all know the score. Done the tours of Sporting and Benfica, and though the latter made us more welcome.

  24. I think that the Rangers apologists in the SFA,SPL,MSM,STV sport,BBC Shortbread sport etc are hanging on for the outcome of the Big Tax Case in the hope that Rangers will escape

  25. O G

Cheers for that, its very frustrating when the info is out there and the MSM refuse to pick it up and run with it, whilst at the same time the football authorities will do anything in their power to sheild and protect that totally corrupt shower in Govan,

It is a long slow death, just wish it was.
