  1. Despite our poor form we will win the league by ten to fifteen points, put your mortgage on it. However we cannot continue with Ronny and Johnny next year regardless. The support won’t accept it.

We say thanks and goodbye to the management team after a double this year,no red faces leaving under those circumstances.

    ATM – Fair enough.

I’ll see ye when a see ye.

First point that I tried to make was that the tragedy was an accident.

Only other thing that I was attempting to put across there was that there was more important things in life happening, than arguing about the rights and wrongs of the world on here.

Basically – what I tried to convey is that no matter how bad things are to us individually – there are people out there whom are worse off than the rest of us.

That why I said – if any of us think that we have problems – think about the poor child who survived the tragedy.

    Misconstrued, definitely.

    Apologies if so though.

I’m sorry that I spoke now.

Certain individual bubbling on about oul diatribe.

    Yeshua.

    Oblivious.

No empathy. No sympathy. No nothing.

    Just the usual self-centred bullshit.

That’s what my post was directed at.

    Sorry ATM.

  4. Good morning friends and welcome to Holy Week from a very slightly damp but otherwise just cloudy, grey and still East Kilbride.

  5. My friends in Celtic,

My thoughts and prayers to the family involved in the tragic accident in Donegal . Thanks and appreciation are also with the emergency and rescue services who are only human and must also be devastated.

  6. Hail Hail fellow Celts….

I’ll try my best to set the record straight re : my health.

I got good news from the hospital on my recent visit but, also some sobering news as well.

Good news – Bloods were fine.

Concerning news – They want me in to do both the camera operations endoscopy, colonoscopy as soon as.

When I eventually got a hold of the doctors to give me the blood results, I said to them that it was good to get the all-clear, to which they replied – “Your not all clear, we still need to get you in to carry out the two exploratory op’s and, to keep you under observation.”

So, I’m thinking….if it was a bad situation then surely I would have been whipped in right away ?

    Who know’s…..we’ll see.

I came on and said my goodbyes to the blog, that was the wrong move.

After I did that, I thought….I’ve just gone and made things worse on there.

So sorry about that, I didn’t mean to mislead anyone….head was all over the place but, I did.

    I’m sorry.

So situation is – I’m a bug in a jar waiting to see how the cards fall.

    I’m grateful for that opportunity.

As I’ve said before, if someone from my home has to be taken by cancer – take me and, leave the innocents alone, they are God’s children.

Jobo Balde – Maximum respect to you fella – I got you all wrong, I’m sorry.

CorkCelt – Your post round about the time that I ‘flounced’ was nail-on-head – Bless you sir.

Thoughts & Prayers to all who are affected by the Donegal tragedy.

That is desperately sad – YNWA.

  7. Must be the quietest nightshift in CQN History. If so I’d like to think it was a mark of respect for the victims of the Buncrana Tragedy.

Like the rest of the Country I’m shocked & deeply saddened at what happened. Words simply fail me this morning.

Can’t really summon up any enthusiasm for normal chat so I’ll just express my condolences & log off.

  8. Kev, I’m glad your bloods were OK. In my experience once the Medical people get hold of you they simply don’t let go, it’s simply test after test.

    You will be fine.

  9. Morning all.

Best wishes to KEVJ. You will be in my thoughts.

I would also like to offer my sincerest condolonces to the families of those involved in the Buncrana tragedy, and the terrible accident in Tarragona in Spain where so many young lives were lost.

    A sad day.

Hail Hail fella, hope yer well.

I hope yer right and, thanks again for yer touching post.

I’m thinking….if I’m going to ‘flounce’ again, it would be better to just go like the wicked witch from oz….just leave a pair of clogs at the end of the page.

Ye never know….maybe before too long, Paul 67 will show me that he has a pair of clogs like Davie Hay and I’ll never be seen again ? :)

    Hail Hail

Good to see you back posting!! Easy to understand why your mindset was a bit off with all that has been going on with your health, the mixed messages you were getting and the delays in getting them. I work in the NHS and see the same regularly.

You are a brave man and my good thoughts will be with you as you go through the investigations to come.

    Strong mind…positivity always.

The bhoys on CQN, are all here for you.

    Hail Hail Fellow Rebel.

  21. Favourite goal: has to be Big Billy’s winner in the 65 Final. Not just for the joy that it gave me and so many others but for what it heralded. Charlie Gallagher has to have a mention as he took that corner and quite a few other important ones, from which Big Billy and Celtic also profited.

  22. Gerryfaethebrig

Cheers for that………..posted it for wee jamesgang ;)

Probably known to all, one of those ball boys was a young David Marshall.

An Tearmann – Reading back, in the cold light of day – I retract the apology that I issued to you earlier.

Your misinterpretation of what I was attempting to convey is unfortunate – Nothing much I can do about that though.

Lost in translation, the written word different than the spoken word, blah blah blah.

    Me saying sorry to you?

    Nah, a don’t think so.

You being the one whom launched a tirade of insults and threats, only because you got the wrong end of the stick.

Petec – Sorry for cracking up at you.

Post what you wish to, as I’ve said – It’s no business of mine.

    Slan go foill mo chairde.

I had heard a young David Marshall was one of the ball bhoys that day, another fine St Ambrose pupil who lived the dream

  25. Reading back, I was about to mention my best Celtic goal until I saw the news about the tragedy in Buncrana. I will leave the goal till another time. Thoughts and prayers with the families suffering in Ireland and also the families of the Spanish bus crash. Eternal rest to the souls of the departed and the healing hand of God be on those who are suffering now.

Think you got it wrong regarding David Marshall’s school. He comes from Riddrie and as far as I know would have attended St. Mungo’s.

  27. A tragic story from Donegal, my thoughts and prayers are for those involved.
