I loved MacAvennie but he obviously loved Jenny Blyth more than Celtic, Bobo Balde could have been a legend in fact after the legends game an surprised BR didn’t offer him a contract :-)

Did anyone else on Cqn travel to Amsterdam in 82 on the Renton bus which picked in George Square including a large group who came down from the AOH Lochee in Dundee .. I always remember getting on the bus and asking the bus convener where the toilet was .. His reply was, we don’t need a toilet, we’re only going to Amsterdam !! The who journey was complete Pantomine, stopping at every service station from Hamilton to Amsterdam, and the same on the way back to Glasgow ..
No Ryanair or Easy Jet in those days, you never even took a jacket in those days, it was your Celtic Top, your Celtic Scarf, a jumper, your jeans and trainers and that was you, and there no sleep for 3 days either !!

Stuck in Italy at present . Caught up on some results last night. Wtf is going on with Celtic? I hadn’t realised our reserves were playing yesterday, and it seems they only won 2-0? Poor stuff. When is the big team playing?
