Just popping in for a moment with a random thought. I see Mourinho is the latest EPL manager to call for the transfer window to close BEFORE the start of the EPL instead of at the end of August. It is highly possible that it might happen.
Any thoughts if this is a help or hindrance to Celtic.
We know that our players would be safe from predatory English clubs from early August. Advantage. Helps us to keep our players during the qualifiers.
The Board can’t wait until we have qualified for group stages before investing in new players (from England). Advantage for Celtic support. Disadvantage for Celtic Board.

My favourite player was always the Maestro, TB and Neil were close 2nd & 3rd…. loved MacAvennie, Dicanio, Larsson, Sutton and even Cadette, but these days there are three players threatening my undying love for the Maestro…. the Griff, Broony and KT, I love the Griff attitude, Broony, injury & personal tradegy apart (2 seasons) has been immense but young KT has been at Celtic Park since the age of 7, that bhoy is fast becoming my favourite ever Celt, I never thought the Maestro would ever be replaced …. but KT still has to put the years, but he is pretty special :-)
PL is a Celtic diehard. He is almost certainly conflicted with being a fan and being CE. Thankfully he knows that his duty as a CE overrules his wants as a fan.
We are lucky to have him but that will only be properly recognised in years to come.
Last week Pedro was practicing bad refereeing decisions in training this week they will be practicing not scoring goals I training…he is the way forward

Re favourites…
Larsson is up there obviously, as is TB and the Maestro. However the player I loved watching most was Lubo. Not always a first choice but he had everything I liked in a footballer.
Loved his two goals at Ibrokes too when Henrik scored his 50th that season and a young Shaun Maloney appeared.

I havent fully read back yet but……
A very professional performance by The Hoops today imo.
It is becoming so apparent that Brendan has the WHOLE squad well drilled, as if any player drops out for whatever reason, whoever takes his place knows his job.
So many young Bhoys today who looked more than comfortable. Special mention to Ralston and Miller, and Ajer.
lastly, in the 89th minute Big Tam Rogic went on a 25/30 yard run……….this is the same Bhoy who couldn’t last more than 60 minutes in recent months.
91st minute…Scott Broon…the auld guy….likewise ran approx 25/30 yards to close down the opposition.
Brendan and his coaching team are doing a fabulous job imo, and the FACT that big Tam and Old Broony…our Skipper showed their brilliant IMPROVED fitness today was a real plus point for me.

Almost forget….our two goals today were finishing of the highest calibre imo……quick feet by the wean for the 1st goal, and again great footwork by Cal Mac…as when he received the ball it was slightly behind him.
I love being a Celtic Bhoy.
OOps…I also put on 3 horses today at Perth…..the trainer D. McCain only had 3 horses out.
3 winners @ 3/1, 7/1 and 9/1…..I had them in three doubles and a Treble…..I like TREBLES !
