Why is Efe diving in like that when he no chance of getting the ball. Let the striker take his chances with the keeper., but don’t dive in and get a red!
I can’t see anything other that what I am visualising from posts on here, but it doesn’t sound good. It sounds like we’ve broken the cardinal rule, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”.
What was so bad about our multiple record breaking (last) season that has necessitated dismantling our midfield and completely doing away with our 100+ goal-scoring forward line?
It was commented a little earlier that our defenders and midfielders are not doing their jobs properly, but the line-up appears to be a complete mish-mash! We have a right back at left back and another who was at centre back (now in the shower!), a left/centre back in midfield and another left back on the bench, a complete novice in midfield who has trained just twice with his new team-mates, four attacking midfielders and no wingers, with Johansen left to provide midfield solidity all on his own, and our best two strikers, two battling midfielders and a habitually under-performing winger on the bench.
Where did it all go so horribly wrong?!!!
Ach well, at least we have a more realistic chance of actually winning a few games in the Europa League, as long as we get through the final qualifying round, where we could be drawn against old foes Aalborg, Elfsborg, HJK Helsinki, Dinamo Moscow. Or St Etienne.

Frustrating thing is, Legia look poor. If we still had 11 on the park I’d say shut up shop now. But with 10 this could be painful to watch.

I don’t think Legia have been that great but we have been poor so far and very weak on the left hand side which is where the manager has made two brave selections.

You can’t play possession football with players who can’t consistently keep the ball.
Therefore this system was always going to be caught out by a better quality of opposition.
Legia are no great shakes but they have been gifted this game so far and if Ronny doesn’t close the game down at half time then you’ve got to ask serious questions.
Biton needs to come on for the new guy and Kayal for either Pukki or McGregor. Bottle the midfield up theres another leg FFS!
Have only Shortbread but don’t think I heard Bergets’s name mentioned once since we went one up.
Total passenger. Midfield appear lost or non existent if radio commentary in any way accurate.
What would big Johan have said about what seems a shambles of a defensive performance.

To play the type of football our Ronnie craves against decent opposition you need a team of players capable of the basic elements of football – ability to control the ball, the ability to make a simple pass.
Berget anonymous, Mathews exposed. Charlie’s inability to control a ball within 6 yards costs Ambrose big time but his naivety causes red card.
