   Here’s the thing that i can never get my head around….

    

    

   We have a team full of internationals, who cost more, and are on far higher wages than these European teams we come up against in the qualifiers but…

    

    

   For as long as i can remember, we simply cannot seem to control, pass and move the ball in the way that many of these players (most of whom we’ve never heard of) can.

    

    

   Is there something in that old theory that players are dragged down to the level of the players within their own league?

    

    

   This squad needs major surgery…
