Reckless challenge by Efe but he was left exposed by our passing breaking down.
I know we are trying to build to a purer passing style but, till we get there, we should allow more of a mixture. Sometimes a clearance is the right thing to do.

Charlie is no central midfielder for me and we’re losing the game there. Lustig to CB, Matthews to RB, Izzy on at LB…and stiffen up the midfield FFS!

Most of their chances have come from us giving the ball away in our half. Our new passing style will pay dividends in the long term but the players haven’t adapted yet.

The only good thing is the away goal and when we started so well to throw this away in this manner is really grating.

Ronnys chosen style is leaving the back four very exposed.
We are having a go at every opportunity but when we loose or give the ball away there are spaces everywhere.
Very very open…..too open.
Sorry Bhoys Charlie Mulgrew is out to lunch here the, Johannsen is like a headless chicken and the midfield is wide open, Charlie to centre half Biton or Kayal to screen, Izzy for Adam..

Efe, Lustig and Commons all shocking. The midfield needs to be reshuffled. Absolutely nothing being created going forward.
I’d take 1-2 now, but if Ronny can motivate this team, we could still get a draw.
Biton second half to put the foot on the ball. Same as first leg, Nervous. I would also take 2-1 to next week. But like Paul says we struggle at this round every year and again are pretty under prepared. passing poor under RD which is surprising.

Celtic playing no different from the games v KR. Difference is, giving the ball away like that gets punished by decent teams.
Defence and mid f very poor need to tighten right up, the gap between mf and defence was there to be exploited although doesn’t help when you give away very cheap possesion
Ambrose, deserved red card but tbh he was having a nightmare of a game.
Commons, wow, how poor is his touch when faced with even this level of opposition.
Good game for the nuetrals but as a Tim it’s a bit of a let down.

OK Watching this I think I cannot recall a match where any Celtic team have been so bad at retaining the ball.
Very poor passing at times, with Legia seeming far more hungry and hunting the ball in packs.
Ambrose was left no choice but to dive in for the tackle as he was to the left of the player and had to try to get in front. Entirely the fault of Charlie Mulgrew.
We can still sneak a goal here but boy do we need to wise up and start playing like a professional football team.
Lenny tried this formation with only two midfielders before, it exposes the back four too much. So far the result does not surprise me.
