    Hope your ma is ok mate. Loved Naka too, great player and would love us to get someone similar. Father in law just been taken in to hospital this morning, waiting on hospital getting back to us to let us know when we can see him. Hope all goes well on the job front not easy at our age mate. I am thinking of doing the driving instructor course, downside is it takes around 5-8 months to complete.

     

    Would be great to meet if you get over and take in a game and a beer or 2. Let me know if and when and I will make sure you get one of my kids tickets Jock Stein lower.

    I’m fascinated by their culture and a trip is on my bucket list. Almost arranged a holiday there 4 years ago but it didn’t happen for various reasons.

    Just throwing something out there, Lubo was roughly same age as Nakamura is now when he signed for us, given we need a playmaker and Nakamura knows the club would it be a no brainer to bring him back for 1-2 seasons, lubo was here for 3-4 at a similar age?

     

     

    It would put bums on seats and he’s a player we found hard to replace with CL football

    Hibs always seem to have a player on “the radar” of Celtic. ( either officially or through fan rumours).

     

     

    In the last few years I’m thinking Riordan, Killen, Brown, Thompson, Fletcher, Caldwell and Griffiths.

     

     

    Further back there was Collins and McGinley.

     

     

    I’ll let others talk about the eighties and before.

     

     

    Some came to Celtic some didn’t.

     

     

    But there was always someone who could perhaps of been useful for Celtic at Hibs who were mentioned in dispatches.

     

     

    Not in this team on view today. Good God they’re dreadful.

    i suspect they also get penalised if they accidentally kick it into the nets at either end.

    Hibs are now unrecognisable from the good attacking team that played and developed their own players. They are now a refuge for failed journeymen who are big on physical and short on ability.

     

    Pat Fenlon is an awful manager. If I was Petrie I’d sack him this afternoon and get ‘rent a gub’ Shiels in. He at least tries to play good football and gives youth a chance.
