  1. MWD,

Aye, none of us know nothing…….:[ Either way, see you end of September – some of us need your help to move pub to pub without being lifted :))))

    Summa,

Being facetious does not an easy molar removal make :))

But some of ye are missin the flamin feckin point:

Be enlightened by the whole thing, or here’s the quick jump to the lyrics that should make you think and get the whole of Europe excited excluding the UK

Off later this morning for a wee 2 day trip darn sarf with Mrs Baldie. So tomorrow morning’s weather report will come from….?

    -the ole honeymoon suite?

Your better half blesses you with a wee one, a wee one who you’re going to be ‘daddy’ to. Big responsibility; Huge responsibility; actually I don’t think responsibility gets much bigger, if at all. Then the Celtic are playing just to compound your emotions; albeit the reserve team – dressed up as the first team – giving an EPL ‘top four’ contender a wee lesson that possession is worthless if you can’t put the ball in the back of the net, and also severing notice on regular ‘first teamers’ that you’re place is not a God given.

Then you add a wee bit off alcohol to the mix, and a heart pumped with pride in all that you hold dear and desire sends high octane blood racing through your veins and your passion weeps from every pore and your heart beats all the faster and your emotions expand fuelled by love and pride and even the gods couldn’t harness your elation. And you want to share your joy but it appears there is nobody there who wants to share it with you.

You hit a brick wall and the polar quantum of your love and pride kicks you in the balls. And you lash out. And sanctimonious gits dare ask you why.

    .

    .

The Bould Bhoy… congratulations to you and yours.

    Doomed I tell ya ;)

    Jobo

I know I why I take my laptop on holiday .. Shirley no ;))))))

  5. dontpatmadug

True. He is playing to the gallery trying to protect ‘Brand Ally’. Could we be in for a new world record of a manager who has presided over the administration of two different teams. The world needs to know!

  6. Got to love how Media House have brainwashed the stupid zombies that Mather is a good guy on their side. He was brought in by Green!

The revelation Cardigan as chairman was telling outsiders they would not believe what was going on with the shares explains his departure. He jumped before having to answer awkward questions about his behaviour from Stock Exchange and investors.

  7. Celticbhoy

If Alistair does achieve that status…. it doesn’t mean he should be sacked… please lord nooooooooo ;),

  8. MWD,

I’d re-arrange the whole night to suit yerself !!!

Look forward to seeing you again on the 28th Sept :)) Yon fecker BMCUW is arranging it around his own bum-chums.

He’s a big knob :))))) Who couldn’t catch a train if it walked off the platform and dragged him out the pub itself ………:))))

I am hoping that he eventually has to “walk away” but not until he has left in as big a mess as he “absolutely” can.

Took me all my time to call him duplicitous. Only room for wan big word in ma heid oan a Sunday. :)

  10. the boy jinky

I think the fans of every club would start a fighting fund to stop that happening. He must stay!

  11. dontpatmadug

Would indeed be nice to see him walk away. It would be nice to see him turn up at the big hoose one day to find it padlocked, with him saying ‘ Oh nooo no again no one told me this was going to happen’

  12. Dontpat

Administration is another big word that seems quite popular today :)

Lets all try that together ..

    Celticbhoy

We could start one of them ” just giving” pages ….

Would the 500m “rangers fans” worldwide contribute

  13. Our PL wouldn’t get caught out like this!

The opening exchanges at the Aviva Stadium were uncomfortable for Rodgers but paled in comparison to Ian Ayre’s experience en route to Dublin. Liverpool’s chief executive, along with Michael Owen, bravely travelled to the Irish capital with the great unwashed on a Ryanair flight from John Lennon Airport on the morning of the game and endured a gruelling interrogation from the rows behind. Aside from the question of how tight Liverpool’s finances must be to send their chief executive via Ryanair (though he may have had checked-in luggage, to be fair), it was noticeable how many supporters demanded the sale of Suárez as stewards gamely attempted their safety instructions while Ayre waited desperately to put his ear-phones in.

    Andy Hunter, The Observor.

  14. As a player he had one thing IMO, timing. He would just happen to be at the right place at the right time and he did score a lot of important goals for thems.

He will step off the elevator the second the cables snap.

  15. Celticbhoy

Lets all show some christian spirit here… some peepil could take that scenario very hard to cope with. . And turn to over indulgence … oh … wait ;)

  16. Just read fat Sal’s interview and if they go busty again it’s not his fault because Brian said it was ok.

Teflon. Why is this guy revered, are the fans as thick as their manager?

    Ok, stupid question.

    Absolutely stupid question.

  17. Dontbrattbakkinanger on

The other thing that’s striking about the interview is how unfazed he is by the whole administration/liquidation experience.

He’s saying ‘if it happens, it happens, nothing to do with me’.

But don’t worry, we’ll be allowed to keep ‘our history’ and another busload of trialist Galacto-diddies will turn up.

Assuming ole bus hasn’t been burnt to a crisp.

They have learnt absolutely nothing from the past 18 months [or 18 years].

Ole Mr Creosote needs to bone up on his Karl Marx, about history repeating itself, first as tragedy, then as farce.

  18. Watching last night’s game having recorded it via Liverpool TV. Anyone tell me who the Scottish co-commentator was as, so far, he’s been surprisingly decent.

    Jobo

  19. I remember reading a book years ago by Spike Milligan, can’t remember what it was called exactly but I think it was Rommel “My part in his downfall”. Looking forward to the rotund E.K manager version.

  20. Dontbrattbakkinanger on

Adolf Hitler: My Part in his Downfall (1971)

Rommel? Gunner Who? A Confrontation in the Desert (1974)

Monty: His Part in My Victory (1976)

This and the previous two books were released and publicised as the first, second, and third part respectively of a trilogy.

I’ve not read them for ages but the first one was pretty good.

  21. Djb brilliant book.. Didn’t think I would laugh so much in my lifetime again, but guess what.. Along came Sally

  22. First year I discovered CQN, was reading it many years ago, mibbes 8 or 9.

Ole MWD was a massive contributor, along with others – but it was his monicker that stood out for me.

All the chat about Celtic was interspersed with issues that we could all contribute to, (called charity by the modern world).

If not for them, I’d not be looking forward to a pint in September with fellow Tims.

There was also a precedent set re charity work.

It’s true these fellas keep doing the charity work, but step aside to let muppets like me have a freesay here.

EDB is annoying when he goes on about it ! But he’s right.

These fellas are now taking a back seat and still doing the work, while the rest of us winge on, and on, and on.

I wish I had an ounce of the character that these folks have..

So, since then the readers and contributors has quadrupled .

That should mean more money towards saving the lives of children?

    Aye. Children.

This is one wee lassie who needs treatment within the next two weeks.

The challenge for all you tits, like me, is to encourage Scotland to raise more than it ever has done for the life of a child. The response will be interesting, no?

If it means making it a tourist issue with fat Alex, then so be it? Does Alex Salmond care – any news on the SNP contribution to this?

And it has to be quick.

  23. Re the number of Liverpool fans at the game . I think many were Irish. And the ones behind me had northern irish accents. Twenty years ago I’m sure Celtic would have out-numbered them. Seduced by the EPL and Sky??
