Is anyone in the slightest bit suprised that things are dodgy with this pair (allegedly)

celtic were out numbered about 3 to 1 in Dublin, which is not bad considering Scottish football is undesirable. the problem is Irish boys in the south grow up with an EPL team (first) and have a wee soft spot for the hoops. the spfl will never match the EPL, however, the CL dwarfs the ELP and celtic can get exposure to a wider audience via that particular tournament. the CL’s value to celtic far exceeds the prize money.
the spfl is poor because the english league is given monies from us in Scotland, as tax payers (t.v licence) and subscription to sky sports etc… which is then given directly to the english leagues, while our football is given a fraction of its true value, which impoverishes our league further (a double edged sword if you like).
If the spfl is serious about making our league better and more desirable it should be developing its own television channel etc… where Scottish football fans can buy Scottish football from one source. I would hazard a conservative guess that 500k people watch Scottish football, pro, semi-pro and amateur, its our national sport and remains our main passion. if we could get grow a t.v viewing pool of
150k at £12 per month: £21.6 million per year
3000 pubs £200 per month: £7.2 million per year
advertising on channel: £5 million per year
Highlight packages add: £3 million per year
radio £350k per year
international t.v sales: £3 million per year
celtic vs. sevco game is watched by 1 million or so people so a pay per view 4 times per year of 500k people at £12 = £24 million
total income: £64 million less expenses. a 44 million split after expenses rather than £13 million. who’s to say a t.v channel dedicated to spfl would not be able to grow further as I say Scotland is passionate about football, has one of the biggest old clubs in the world and one of the biggest new clubs in the world.
33 million for premier league
6 million for championship
3 million for 1st division
2 million for 2nd division
still relatively small numbers but shared in a small pool of clubs it could make a huge difference to the landscape of Scottish football, in that our clubs would be able to build teams and hold onto their top players and/ or sell them at a true reflection of their value.
distribute 50% of all clubs commercial i.e. prize money, t.v. money etc… euro football profit into a premier euro pot to be shared with all clubs that qualify for European football the following season
go to a 14 team league and introduce euro play-off add a relegation spot and another relegation playoff spot.
or we can keep taking the scraps from BT/ Sky etc… which is often reflected in the poor quality of the product which diminishes the product further. i.e. the EPL is the glamour and glitz, the spl when shown is of a poor quality and that is how it is viewed and therefore produced.
Perhaps the reason for the mass cover up is that the gravy train riders have all been at it for years and years carving up the succulent lamb for themselves while we feed off the scraps from their table, cheaty cheaty hunmen!!

Administration has never been mentioned by the directors, McCoist said. “I’d hope if it was on the horizon, there would be an early warning system for us this time. Not like the last time, when we got 24 hours notice. You’d like to think we’d have a fair idea and have an opportunity to perhaps do something about it.”
Aye it was only two and a half years after the great Walter said the bank was running the club!

I would love to meet Naka, one of my favourite Hoops, I would love to see us bring in someone that can pass the ball the way that man can!
I would love to get over to the Shire next month to see my Mum, she was two weeks in hospital again but when my daughter goes to Japan I am officially unemployed again and have to do a job search every month so we see what the Top Tim has in mind??
If I do get over we will get together for a game and a blether..

He was telling me this morning that he did the tour of Celtic Park during the week and he has his name on the back of the Hoops.

More Finnbogason rumors .—–
Sunderland offered 5 million euros and Van Basten said no .
Van Basten has likened Finnbogason to Van Nistelrooy / Huntelaar and Jon Dal Tomasson .
AC Milan fans with a memory have not been slow to remind Van Basten that Huntelaar and Tomasson were not the bees knees at AC Milan.
