Just as Celtic’s injury problems appear to be lifting Spartak Moscow’s are getting more acute each passing game. Their cult-hero goalkeeper, Andriy Dykan, was substituted after picking up an injury in yesterday’s win against 10-man Amkar Perm and is unlikely to face Celtic. Already injured, Pareja, Welliton, Parshivlyuk, Jurado and Romulo, never made the squad.
The goal Spartak lost to ninth-place Amkar, is worthy of note. It was the eighth goal they have lost to a set piece in the last 10 games. Celtic have been particularly effective from set pieces in Europe already this season and will see an opportunity in corners and free kicks deep in opposition territory.

I come on to this site to read people’s opinions, comments, and occasional breaking news on Celtic in particular, and football in general. This includes the travails of our rival clubs in Scotland, and long may they continue. I have no issues (and sometimes enjoy) with the occasional shift into how to get ITV HD on the Sky box, the eternal war between the manatee and the hedhehog, the current weather conditions in East Kilbride, and so on. I may even post occasionally myself.
The problem with religeon is that it has been hijacked by power-hungry humans. Those who follow a simple code of conduct whereby they look after their nearest and dearest, as well as others less fortunate than themselves, either by direct action, or by contributing whenever and wherever they can, are far better than those followers of particular sects who try to ram their philosophy down everyones throats.
I may well just have described those who set up the Kano Foundation, and those collecting for Oscar in the first part of that last sentence.
I have my wife, my sons, my friends and am fairly contented with what has been dealt to me.
So to those bashers – keep it to yourself and stop trying to push your ideas onto other people.

I’m happy that people have faith and I wish I had it also.
I just don’t understand why, for the life of me, that people cannot accept Peoria for what they are without the need to castigate them. That video of some holier than though preacher was, IMHO, disgusting. Everyone has the right to their beliefs but I also have the right to question them when they are so forthright and outspoken with regards to their beliefs.
Petec, IMHO, is a good ghuy and i like him but sometimes the preaching gets a bit monotonous for my liking.
