Mouyokolo and the Perrier-Doumbe path to immortality

768

Steven Mouyokolo’s last two permanent contracts were for clubs playing Premier League football in England but after joining Hull City as a 22-year-old and making 21 appearances in their relegation season, his move to Wolves bombed amid a multitude of injuries.  The player has made four appearances for Wolves and four for Sochaux in the last three years.

He no longer has the profile which would be considered in the English Premier League; which is why he’s pitched up in Scotland.  If his knee passes a medical this week, he’ll become the latest 6’3” defender on the Celtic books, competition for Kelvin, Virgil, Charlie, Efe and the rest.

Competition is good but Steven’s chances of edging out the competition to become a first team regular must be considered slight with his injury record, whether he passes the medical or not.  It’s more likely he’ll follow the path of Jean-Joel Perrier-Doumbe, although Champions League football and a Cup Final winner is not a bad return.

    Brilliant :))

Is it just me, or is the five-star cluster sevco anomaly looking bigger these days? Either it’s been deliberately increased in size, or Moisty is finally starting to use that cleavage….

The camera angle tells me that my latter conclusion is right.

Jabba has employed a PR guru who specialises in blabber utilization.

It’s such a clever angle when you realise that point – before said point pokes your eye out, like the cheeky perspective nipple it is….

There’s also a good use of the double-chin against dark background and perspective camera angle. It implies “thinker” rather than “compulsive dietician ignorer”.

The “AMcC” is looking prouder than ever sitting atop the enlarged right hand breast.

The start of the contribution from this fat anomaly of “the clubb……the klubb, huz been oan the back payjeez….” kind of says it all.

So I stopped the video 5 seconds in, and haven’t seen any more of it….

  3. Good afternoon from a hot and sunny Gold Coast.

Just been for my CT (or CAT) scan on my abdomen. No result given.

That’s the last of my series of tests. All I can do is wait until my appointment on 17 July for the verdict.

Hoping and praying the cancer is wholly confined to the prostate, which means I have a real fighting chance of coming through this.

  4. BT,

Sorry amigo, I didn’t post any Jimmy B videos unless you’ve somehow stumbled onto a years old page! Mibbes was Morrisey the 23rd who shared some good vids tonight?

Going for Z’s myself now, as my priority is to watch the burds tennis final. Good luck to Andy Murray, but am afraid his tennis socks don’t do it for me the way Bartoli’s do, with her chunky arms, steam-rolling style and humble disposition. :))) She’s got a fan in me :))

I agree its been a long time since we had a bra debate on CQN

Been put off tits for life though after laughing hysterically at that Jabba “interview” several times.

Not so much an excuse for bras as some kind of dual XXXXXXL body stocking made of unbreakable 0.5mm stainless steel to house two obese bodies and their verbal gash as it gets transported to Siberia and withstands -40 degree temperatures to ensure they don’t break free.

Oh no wait. I want them just where they are >:)))

  12. thindimebhoy,

Posting from my scratcher here…agree with all that. Well I did until I did a double take and found myself unable to compute “fairer” in the same equation as “burd”.

“burd”=one half of two in the hand, female human, blonde woman of below average intelligence, woman who pole dances, one who is notable for their inability to grasp the concept of fairness, unrealistic compliment aimed at sexually frustrated female security staff.

Just another Aegean morning, fresh coffee on the veranda, gazing out upon the bay.

Seven local fishermen, working together with their boats and nets.

Corralling fish in ever decreasing circles until it is time for one to strike swiftly, cutting through the shoals, at pace, before heading back to port to share the spoils.

On the left of the bay, sheltered by the rock face multi million pound yachts, flying the flags of various nations, dwarf the indigenous fleet. Pleasure craft for the idle rich.

Both comfortable in their perspective roles.

I’ve never done the pleasure craft but have the fishing boat.

Not sure if I missed anything.

Fifa suspends Cameroon but awards them win over Togo

Fifa has provisionally suspended Cameroon’s football federation (Fecafoot) as the fallout from last month’s election continues.

Fifa said its decision was taken “on account of government interference”.

The suspension could prevent Cameroon playing a key World Cup qualifier against Libya on 6 September.

It came on the same day the national side went top of their World Cup qualifying group, because Togo fielded an ineligible player against them.

The results of the 19 June Fecafoot polls were cancelled by the body’s own appeals committee after technical complaints from the losing candidates.

Iya Mohammed was re-elected as the organisation’s president despite still being detained by the Cameroon authorities for alleged financial mismanagement of the state-owned cotton company.

Fifa said in a statement: “The Fifa statutes oblige member associations to manage their affairs independently and with no influence from third parties.”

The world governing body says it will help set up an emergency committee to run Fecafoot, whose main aim will be to organise and hold elections by 31 March 2014.

The suspension will be lifted once the emergency panel is allowed into Fecafoot’s headquarters to carry out their business unhindered.

More immediately the ban could affect club side Coton Sport, who are due to take part in the group stages of the African Champions League which begin on 20 July.

Meanwhile, Cameroon were promoted to the top of their 2014 World Cup qualifying group after Fifa ruled Togo had used an ineligible player in a match between the two countries last month.

Togo won 2-0 in Lome but Fifa has awarded Cameroon a 3-0 win after Togo admitted Alaixys Romao should have been suspended.

Got a feeling Janowic is gonna give Andy a real tough game today. That’s an almighty serve he has. Was looking at the betting. If you think Andy is going to win 3 0 or 3 1, stop reading now.

Those 2 set scores are the only ones that will cost you money if you bet all 6 possible outcomes. If you assume for easy counting purposes you bet £1 on all 6 set scores, a 3 0 win for Andy would cost you £3.90, a 3 1 win for Murray would cost you £2.50, but every other outcome makes you profit.

    A 3 0 defeat earns you £6

    3 1 defeat earns you £4

    3 2 defeat earns you £4

    3 2 win earns you £1.50p.

As I say, the above is to £1 stakes, bet total = £6. Obviously if you bet in £5 units , total bet = £30 and returns are 5 x the above amounts. ( or you lose 30 bucks if Andy wins 3 0 or 3 1.)

The same applies to the djokovic match, in fact to a greater extent. I personally think Del Potro will be swept away so I’ve no interest in betting on the match, but I just feel Janowic has the game to cause Andy real problems, especially if he puts in a second set performance like yesterday.

Anyhow, just thought the set betting threw up interesting potential for anyone who feels Janowic is in with a shout.
