Mr Ogilvie, you’re going to need a bigger shredder

907

Lots of details became available yesterday but if you can drag yourself away from the most gratuitous, concentrate on the dates.

12 December 2012.

One week before the IPO.  Material information disclosed to the nomad?

21 June 2012.

Four weeks after Mr Whyte was banned from participating in Scottish football, enabling Newco to exist.

11 months before one of Mr Whyte’s collaborators is proposed as a director of Newco.

What the spivs have done to that club, assisted by the most stupid people to own keyboards and journos on-the-make, is breath-taking.  How did the idiots manage to take over?  There is a lesson for humanity here.

On a related subject:

“Craig Whyte’s involvement would be hidden from the SFA and SPL”.

Mr Ogilvie, you’re going to need a bigger shredder.

You and your organisation are being openly mocked.  What was patently obvious to anyone remotely interested in following events to their logical conclusion a year ago is now evident to all.

I have no interest in you resigning now.  All the damage which could have been done to our game due to a lack of penetrative oversight, which is your job, has been done.  Your persistence is merely confirmation that the levels of corporate governance at the SFA remain unchanged.

Fans from SPL and SFL clubs found rock among the sand to build foundations on last year.  There remains a love of our game, and our clubs, among the detritus, but we have unquestionably been failed by the custodians of our game at Hampden Park, who I am convinced, will again bury their heads in the sand.

There is no going back, no quick fix, no one can put this right.  Nothing will ever be the same again.  Accept this and move on.

How can LNS get away with stating that massive corruption and theft gave “no sporting advantage”?

It was the SFA not LNS!

LNS found them guilty then asked the SFA for direction on sentencing, Campbell supplied Sandy Bryson!

    —————————————————————

LNS stated there was no sporting advantage because Sandy Bryson was useless at his job (or did exactly as directed).

  2. Jon Daly

Offered £4k a week basic. This will rise to £8k per week once he steps on the park and if SevCo win the game.

Oh, there is also the signing on fee. Cobbled together, Mr Daly will be earning in the region of £11k a week during his residence at the Bigotdome.

And they’re meant to be cutting back expenditure?

  3. EXILED TIM, yes I can. More difficult to see how they can overcome this.

what should CFC do if the SFA ignore the latest installment of dodgy behaviour from Sevco ?

  6. Paul67, be interesting to hear your views on how you think this will pan out .

Cast our minds back to this time last year , RFC were still an SPL club, and the liquidation was yet to happen. We all know how the Newco/Sevco/NewClub argument went and we’ve all seen the start of their great journey back to the top but what now ?

If the terms of their associate membership are found to have been breached then what are the repercussions ? Expel them ? Demote them ? Haven’t they been punished enough we will no doubt hear. There are no precedents for this as far as I know so we are reliant on the SFA/SFL to adjudicate.

Bear in mind that the existing rules were ridden over roughshod to allow newco to become a member of the SFL. How confident are we that rules will not be rewritten to allow them to benefit from their deceit ?

Anyone else think nothing will happen ?

i must admit to being perplexed by the Daly situation

normally big signings are mooted at ST renewal time

however, Daly`s not really the type of signing that a great deal of Sevco fans will be happy with

as for the cash …madness…they can`t afford that level of wage

  9. Thanks Paul,

You just made a very good day even better! (and I consider myself suitably reprimanded for my error. I really should have know better) ;-)

I mostly only read the articles now, as all the in-fighting in the comments finally got to me, but the quality of the lead articles has never dropped.

Keep up the sterling work, sir!

  10. a pal said to me the other night, a few years ago you couldnt go into the office without hearing “fitba banter”, mostly from huns , and allways when it was a chance to slag the tims.

nowadays, no one watches football or comment, or is interested.

in my office just now, 2 non-zombie non football fans starting asked me questions, after i shared the sound clips and the documents.

across the other side sits 6 or so sevconians.

so saint stivs, no one can do anything really, these guys are all fighting over the body of rangers, no one can do anything.

i said well, if 38,000 world record 4th tier season book holders didnt put a penny in from now, the value of the club to these “owners” disappears over night.

if you have no customers , you dont have a business.

i could see them fizzing in the corners,

or, they could allways just see how it pans out

Anger is an energy, use it well.

The culture of aiding one club above all others has to change.

The removal of Campbell Ogilvy, at some point in the near future needs to come along with the removal of others who do not have footballs best interest at heart, Bryson would be one.

The whole cabal need top down change.

Well I guess it’s becoming clear now why there was that massive police manhunt a couple of weeks back to try to grab the tapes. Obviously someone (and there’s only one person in this thing with that kind of clout) got wind of something. So I’d guess there’s something even bigger to hit in the days/weeks ahead. Hope he’s still got that private jet for a quick getaway!

  15. i would sign daly, and any other person they claim to be interested in, and pay them what they are offered at the zombie club, then loan them out.

The signing of Daly has been on the cards for circa 2 months. Kept fully underwraps until the season ended to avoid any ‘protests’ at games.

Elbows new deal is similar in wages to Daly’s. They need to offload Bocanegra + Goian sharpish as both are on £17k a week with 1 year to run. They will ‘save’ £9k a week when Alexander leaves but the signing of Bell + the possible signing of Law will eat those ‘savings’ up.

The money will run out circa at Xmas time if not slightly before imo.

I think what we’re witnessing is one of great battles/cockups marking the decline of the power of the Lodge. In this case, it’s masons vs spivs.

For us neutrals【ツ】the whole spectacle is made all the more interesting by the size of the stakes involved: £18M give or take a few million. Not to mention the loosening of the dead-hand masonic grip on the game here in Scotland and the castration of one of the last great totems of the bigot and racist.

Have to say I share your scepticism. If they were going to be “kicked out”, last year was when it would and could have happened. That it didn’t shows how much they feel they have to be “kept alive” (even when dead!).

Someone posted a quote from Broadfoot a couple of days back:

“We have to do what is best for Scottish football, that is our remit. We have had no contact with Rangers or any board member whatsoever over the details of the five way agreement thay we brokered last summer or unease about any revelations. The five way agreement will always remain confidential as all parties agreed to this fundamental clause when Campbell initially presented it in the first place.”

Their belief is that what is best for Scottish football is a strong “Rangers” and they will do whatever they can to have this. They will lie, cover up, bend and break rules to ensure this.

  23. Where are the chairmen of other Scottish clubs including ours. There is more than enough evidence to expel Sevco from football. They need to do the right thing and start as a brand new entity in the junior ranks.

  24. Got myself on twitter at last.
