Nerves and joy ahead of Inverness game

739

I’m sure I’m not the only one who winced when I read Neil Lennon suggesting tomorrow would be “very joyous”.  Let’s remember, Inverness Caledonian Thistle won at Celtic Park on their visit earlier this season and have punctured our title ambitions in recent seasons.  There is a competitive football game to win before anyone can talk about joy.

Getting nervous about tomorrow already…..

Delighted Motherwell made short work of Dundee United last night.  They deserve their second successive top two SPL finish, a remarkable achievement for a small club.  Where are you, Aberdeen, United, Hibs, Hearts?

The curious situation of Charles Green, no longer Newco Rangers chief executive but still director of the club, and expects to remain so until the end of May.

Dundee manager and professional deep searcher, John ‘Bhomber’ Brown this afternoon told Radio Scotland, the SFA “want to take stock and take a look at their own department”, when asked about Neil Lennon’s victimisation for using industrial language at a football game.

Wise words from Bhomber.

  2. craggy island gaa. I have used Creative in the past for work stuff and found them to be very good.

  3. Heard my first SSB tonight for months and months – out in the car for 20 minutes. They’re THICK! Spew Heevins was asked a perfectly fair question from a worried supporter (yes, they do have them) who wanted to know what could, not should, happen if they were found guilty on the Green/Whyte stuff colluding against SFA rules and Heevins COULDN’T/WOULDN’T answer the guy. Absolute pantomine. I might start listening again.

I cannot see ICT just turning up for the party.

  6. Celtic are winning this title in a canter despite some annoying blips for the fans along the way. Celtic’s real teat came in twelve tough Champions League matches from which the players emerged with flying colours despite Juventus being flattered by their margin of victory. Juve had flaws but unfortunately the team failed to take advantage of them. It’s always great to win the title and let’s look forward to celebration time on Sunday.

My reading of Neil Lennon’s press conference is that Lunny was pressured into taking it up. Who were the two complainants? My guess is they weren’t ordinary St Mirren fans.

i was on my way to london that night on a school trip, not a pleasant journey as huns coming back from the game were also on the train.Adults terrorising 10-12 year old kids and a nun who was one of the adults in the party, thats the night i developed my loathing of all things hun

  14. So Sevco lose again today – this time to Peterhead.

More and more people are starting to realise that this reanimated Rangers, if and when it does make it back to the SPL, will never achieve even a semblance of the original. Celtic fans, who may now be looking forward to renewed conflict in a few years, may find themselves admitting – the thrill is gone.

    Suggestion for tomorrow…

NFL .. take a seat in section 111.

Watch the match with the gb … do the huddle …. do the broony … do the lenny

Then celebrate the league victory with them until 15 mins after the match before stepping onto the pitch ..

What a girfuy that would be for the sfa

It’s not so much that there was a complaint made.

It’s the fact that it was treated seriously by the SFA

    and acted upon.

    Farcical beyond belief.

it was NEVER a thrill………. It was resistence, and if we had been afforded a ‘level playing field’, we would have left them in our trail for many decades….9 in a row? …. It would have been 39 in a row without their ‘favoured’ status / cheating …..GTTF forever….

The thrill has indeed gone. I for one don’t EVER want to play that lot gain. I hate everything to do with the huns. Imagine if we ever play them again for example in a cup game…utter carnage!!!! Celtic Football Club don’t need them. We as fans don’t need them.

I want them gone for good!!!!!!!!!

Neil Lennon is a clever man who has an aura about him required to be our manager.

He knows that he can achieve greatness here and his son can see his name up there

with Jock Stein, Fergus, Big Billy, Jimmy McGrory etc.

The board know they have the real deal.

Here is his managerial record in my mind.

Take over from BTM and win remaining league matches- PASS

    Win Scottish Cup- FAIL

Take on Walter, referees, opposing managers who so wanted you to be a failure and

    win the league- FAIL.

    Win the Scottish Cup-PASS.

Take on media whore super ally with his EBT players and £4m striker and win the

    league-PASS.

    Scottish Cup- FAIL.

    Win the hun-free league-PASS.

Beat Helsinki to stay in Europe-PASS

Beat Helsinborgs to qualify for Champions league-PASS.

    Qualify from group-PASS.

    Sign good players-PASS.
