Nerves and joy ahead of Inverness game

739

I’m sure I’m not the only one who winced when I read Neil Lennon suggesting tomorrow would be “very joyous”.  Let’s remember, Inverness Caledonian Thistle won at Celtic Park on their visit earlier this season and have punctured our title ambitions in recent seasons.  There is a competitive football game to win before anyone can talk about joy.

Getting nervous about tomorrow already…..

Delighted Motherwell made short work of Dundee United last night.  They deserve their second successive top two SPL finish, a remarkable achievement for a small club.  Where are you, Aberdeen, United, Hibs, Hearts?

The curious situation of Charles Green, no longer Newco Rangers chief executive but still director of the club, and expects to remain so until the end of May.

Dundee manager and professional deep searcher, John ‘Bhomber’ Brown this afternoon told Radio Scotland, the SFA “want to take stock and take a look at their own department”, when asked about Neil Lennon’s victimisation for using industrial language at a football game.

Wise words from Bhomber.

Minty, Bain and their financial guy cant remember name, I done them up like a kipper and gave them hee haw, i am convinced Bain knew what I was up to but too scared to tell Minty.

The meeting I had with them in the City Chambers will live with this Tim for all my days I wind my Sevco mates up with what I did to them Fenian bassa is often used but they do laugh through gritted teeth. How I tried my best to help a Glasgow team. I particularly liked when I asked Minty the bomber broon question about who owned Ipox and the albion car Parkand could I see the deeds, Minty’s face went purple.

I know a few members of the brotherhood who know him, not from the west, and none have a good word to say about him.

The cheeky chappie thing disny wash with the brothers who are no into football.

But, they are still brothers, therein lies the problem.

  6. Song for Sevco,

Once upon a time you dressed so fine

You threw the bums a dime in your prime, didn’t you?

People’d call, say, “Beware doll, you’re bound to fall”

You thought they were all kiddin’ you

    You used to laugh about

    Everybody that was hangin’ out

Now you don’t talk so loud

Now you don’t seem so proud

About having to be scrounging for your next meal.

    How does it feel

    How does it feel

    To be without a home

    Like a complete unknown

    Like a rolling stone?

You’ve gone to the finest school all right, Miss Lonely

But you know you only used to get juiced in it

And nobody has ever taught you how to live on the street

And now you find out you’re gonna have to get used to it

    You said you’d never compromise

With the mystery tramp, but know you realize

    He’s not selling any alibis

As you stare into the vacuum of his eyes

And say do you want to make a deal?

    How does it feel

    How does it feel

    To be on your own

    With no direction home

    Like a complete unknown

    Like a rolling stone?

You never turned around to see the frowns on the jugglers and the clowns

When they all come down and did tricks for you

You never understood that it ain’t no good

You shouldn’t let other people get your kicks for you

You used to ride on the chrome horse with your diplomat

Who carried on his shoulder a Siamese cat

Ain’t it hard when you discover that

He really wasn’t where it’s at

After he took from you everything he could steal.

    How does it feel

    How does it feel

    To be on your own

    With no direction home

    Like a complete unknown

    Like a rolling stone?

Princess on the steeple and all the pretty people

They’re drinkin’, thinkin’ that they got it made

Exchanging all kinds of precious gifts and things

But you’d better lift your diamond ring, you’d better pawn it babe

You used to be so amused

At Napoleon in rags and the language that he used

Go to him now, he calls you, you can’t refuse

When you ain’t got nothing, you got nothing to lose

You’re invisible now, you got no secrets to conceal.

    How does it feel

    How does it feel

    To be on your own

    With no direction home

    Like a complete unknown

Celtic have to treat this game like a Cup Final tomorrow.Butcher will have them fired up big time and with a lot of our young supporters possibly witnessing the chance of a first title we can’t let them down.

  8. I’d give Neil a microphone and let him lead the community singing from the director’s box after the game tomorrow.

Stuff their ridiculous 15 min ban. Petty fools.

    Fly the flag.

This Sevco gig will break Sally he does love his previous status when they turn against him it will turn his wee brain.

He will be a broken man but is it wrong for me to hope he hangs around for many more years of pain as manager because they cant get rid of him and his team struggle in the lower divs.

  11. desperate re-post;

is it OK to park in the Forge tomorrow?

Last time I went in there (Helsingborg game) I saw guys in yellow bibs photographing cars.

  12. paulreverecsc,

If you get off from the M74, the best exit is 2A. You are beyond Celtic Park but, if you can, you should follow London Road straight to Parkhead. Parking near Celtic Park might be a problem, but, if you are able to park, you have easy access back on to the motorway to start your journey home.

    TET,

I have said for years that we need to change the nonsense of blood and snotters football that the MSM and the MIBS encourage. It really began to let Hearts in particular have a chance to beat us in season 86. Blood and snotters compensated for real football skill. Maloney is playing to his potential now because he is afforded protection in England. Celtic should be pressing for footballers beibg allowed to flourish. Scotland, the team, can only benefit.

Last week Sevco announced an investigation into

    it’s own financial practices.

Yesterday their CEO announces his resignation amid

    financial irregularity.

At what point will the SFA decide it’s newest club

is not fit and proper to be a league member.

I don’t know, but when I used to took the car I parked to the east of CP, driving towards CP along London Rd there are lots of side streets to park in, also easy access to the motorway after the game.
