I had worse in the old enclosure back in the day,and I’m sure you did too. Doesn’t make it right.

On the plus side,I couldnae pick up what was thrown at me and buy a pint with it. Didnae have pound coins back then!

I got more into the habit of lurkin, what a grand result.☘☘☘

Watched the game with my bhoy and a few of his pals and Jonny the tim.

Don’t think my flute playing neighbour enjoyed our celebrations. ;))))

Have we ever won four in a row at Mordor before??

I saw a mention that it was 1909 when we last did that.

    I haven’t checked that out.

  4. embramike says ” Yer team’s deid…Beat it!” on

So much to say about today’s gutsy result but I’ll leave it to the great man Jock Stein …

“If you’re good enough, the referee shouldn’t matter”

    … and it didn’t … HH

  5. 16 roads - Celtic über alles... on

Had a few quid on Celtic to win today, also just remembered picked Celtic in the LMS competition as well.

    A nice wee bonus.

    HH.

Just logged on again and remembered ,you said earlier in the week you formerly worked in Wishae . No doubt an amazing experience, as a native of that unlovely town I was inter eyed to know just where?

I was in the museum of Music earlier today

Greens,mid-80s. Asst Manager. Boss was a smashing fella, can’t recall his name, and Rangers daft. I was only there for a month or so,nice people and decent pubs as I dashed for a swiftie before the last train.

  9. I know the term souptaker is frowned on here by some , so I won’t use it to describe my thoughts on walkers commentary today.

A money grabbing sad bassa is more apt.

  10. Dena29

Delighted to be back. Much better than blethering to you via txt. :-)) I hope you and the family are tip top. HH

Siminovic deserved red and he should never wear the jersey – he is not Celtic class and shows no passion for the jersey.

*I have spoken about him often and feel that the bin bag game has elevated his status, however, we meet them another twice so lets give him the benefit until the end of the season, apart from his yellw card indiscretion he up to that time was a lot better than Dedrick.

Anyway, a straight red and that’s him out next week at the steelmen and after the international break at home tae Ross County.

  12. Sipsini and Marspapa, back posting today as well now

Can this get any better :-))

Hail Hail to those returning CQN poster Bhoys

Minx, you not wanting to join in the celebrations :-))))

  13. BMCUW

Thanks, back then there may have been a couple of decent pubs. Sad to say, no longer the case, bit I am no expert prefer to drink further afield.

Try Thistle Cider – Scottish made and very, very nice.

  15. My joy about the result is tempered by the refereeing.

I defy any one to say that the two teams were not being reffed to different standards.

John 2 footed off the ground challenge – no card.

Alves simply kicked Ntcham at the end. Not even spoken to.

Lunge on Broon as he set up Moussa goal – nothing.

Jozo makes contact with the Chinaman – foul certainly, maybe a yellow. But linesman screams – literally screams – for a red and Collum is doing that stupid-little-run-whilst-taking-out his card routine. Couldn’t get it out quick enough.

Several time Moussa and Ntcham won the ball fairly and squarely, pulled back for non-existant fouls.

We MUST call this out: otherwise wait till Beaton or Madden get the next game.

  16. Does Scott Bain get a run of games now and a contract at the end of the season? Would rather him than De Vries.

  17. look as another aside, half of my wifes family go to mass in the metropolitan cathedral of christ the king.half are protestants the other half are catholics are we missing sometrhing in scotland

  18. ITALIABHOY on 11TH MARCH 2018 5:13 PM

Agree but he did book Candeias for late foul on Brown after he played Moussa in.

Tierney and Brown were targeted and got no protection. Moussa was continually fouled with back to goal and in most instances got free kick given against him. Then he gets booked just to rub salt in.

Collum and his racist Tory linesmen were a fine balance of incompetence and bias.

  19. Italia – agreed.

Would like to see us call thum ooot…..after a win.

For the genuine good of Scottish football.

  20. FF already talking about the semi-final as make or break. Expect more honest mistakes in that game.

  21. i'vehadtochangemyname on

totally agree italiabhoy – I’ve seen many on here over the years talk about it but we finally saw it on the tv, clear as day.

Too right. There is only one man that the SFA will entrust that gig to…Craig Thomson.

    A master at disrupting games.

  23. According to Chick Young and the doyens of Sportsound Collum had a great game. Reason? Nobody is talking about him (I guess they mean in the BBC studio since they’re banned from Ibrox). Packy Bonner didn’t agree with the rest of them.
