    Astonishingly one sided first half with Celtic missing too many chances

     

     

    Rosenborg cannot defend like that in the second half and will have a go at some stage in next 45.

     

     

    If we lack in striking its trying to place the ball, when a full blooded shot is required, but you just can’t see the amount of possession in the final third not turning into more goals.

     

     

    Classic keep the back door locked .

    I still worry that the best way to obtain a convincing fix in Salzburg is to keep it goalless until late in the 2nd half and then concede an “unlucky” penalty or fall over to when marking a Leipzig forward- then iys 1:0 and you haven’t got time to peg it back.

    Can’t understand why it’s only 1-0 at HT. So much possession without an end product until the hitherto lacklustre Sinky turns up. Who knows what we might achieve in the second half if the lacklustre Eddy turns up too.

    If we win this game, we would still need to win against Salzburg

     

    A win tonight and draw against Salzburg gives us 10pts

     

    I would expect Leipzig to beat Rosenberg in last game, giving them 10pts as well

     

    They have a better head to head than us

     

     

    In a nutshell we need Salzburg to win tonight

    I don’t give a sh**te about the Red Bulls. Celtic played some lovely football first half really looked a class team, great goal. Pity we didn’t convert a few others 3 nil would be about a fair reflection of first half, But yes I agree with earlier Poster they are bound to have their period of supremacy.
