Our ball retention was poor after we took the lead.
We let them creep into the game, instead of controlling possession and the tempo ourselves, and then we let Thomson do his stuff.
If that’s a pen, so is the foul on LG before it, for all those defending the MIB.
We’ll need wise substitutions from the 2 we have as the game goes on, unless enforced, of course.
Can still be won, but we’ll need a bit of luck, I think.

Also he had no hesitation on ignoring penalty box challenge on Griff which would also have been soft.
Efe touched him with his knee, the boy felt the contact and went down. We would have been screaming for it. It looked accidental to me but there was no doubt in CT’s mind. I hate the double whammy of the sending off. However we should have been three up by that stage and Griff could have a penalty too.

At every Celtic corner, Leigh Griffith’s is literally sandwiched between the.Ross County goalie and one of the defenders. The only positive I can see is that as long as the ref ignores it, then its distracting 2 Ross county players.
If as some believe Efe’s challenge merited a pen then what about the challenge on Griffith’s after 3 mins? Was that a pen too?
Neither was & to point the finger at Efe for a decision made by a bent ref is ridiculous.
No sign of 5th and 6th officials today funnily enough.

The sending-off has neutralised Celtic’s main advantage over RC…their speed of breaking. The pace of the game now suits RC. Some players need to up their game. Bitton needs to get more involved and expend more energy. The new CH looks good so far but he is small. Jo Hansen’s passing is awefull again…several moves around the edge of the penalty area have broken down because of him.
It is crucial that we do not lose the next goal. If we do, RC will sit back and tire us out and hit us with high balls over the top.

We’re missing McGregor’s direct play, Biton, Armstrong and Johansen have to do a whole lot better in this second half for me…
Ronny needs to really make clear to these Bhoys what the shape is, we’re hinging’ like a washing in too many passages of play..

Having said that, Efe has no excuse. Ball watching when the RC player went past him ,then making contact with the man when it looked like Craig Gordon was doing enough to get the block in anyway.
LG and GMS being constantly fouled, ignored by Thomshun. He knows that 2 yellows for an RC player would even the game up so he’s not risking that.

Ref had a supercilious self satisfied look on his face.
He was well pleased.
My initial thoughts that Craig had it covered proved accurate.
RC forward made a meal of it as he couldn’t wait to go down.

Started brilliant. Great team goal. Missed some sitters. The Ambrose does what he does. Goes to sleep, gives away a (soft) penalty and gets sent off. The Danish boy already looks ten times the player Ambrose ever will be, so why go with Ambrose? He is piss poor and has cost us so many times the same way. Bring back Tebily! Since then we’ve played pretty well on a woeful pitch, but Ambrose’s uselessness has more or less eliminated Griffiths, who was ripping them up but is now reduced to chasing long, straight balls. My concern is fitness as the game goes on. Thanks Ambrose ya dumplin.
There was a moment when the county defender held back griffiths in the box. I didn’t think that was a pen but it was much more of a pen than the one the Hun referee gave.

We will win in 90 minutes, if it goes to pens, Thomson will be the star of the show.
We still have the quality and they are hoping for penalties. I don’t think they believe they can win unless we go down to 9-god forbid. GMS AND Griff should play closer together and expose them with their touch and movement.
Never thought I’d say this but McGregor should have stayed on, great energy and movement. Griff for a double into the CELTIC END.

We really do have a pretty poor record at Hamdump for a team that goes into most of these games as big favourites. Never understand the massive confidence of some fans before these games
Efe put himself in a position where the mib had a decision to make …as a CFC player of a few years he should know not to do that
