   In real time I could not see the contact between Efe and Schalk. The replay showed that Efe stood on his foot, therefore a penalty. The red card is debatable but, in that area of the pitch, it is always possible. This is not a decision at the level of Meeking’s hand; in fact it is more like the Craig Gordon sending off in the same match. If the jerseys were swapped we would agree with the ref.

    

    

   That said, I think we’ve coped well enough and Makay-Stevens is in the mood. I don’t care if Sviatchenko “looks” overweight- he is playing well enough
