You know a transfer window approaches when practically every media outlet has a story on Celtic are set to lose an important player. Transfer stories are one of the most reliable commercial ventures in business. They require no effort to produce, or recopy, as most outlets appear to, do not need to lead anywhere, but income per word read brings in more advertising revenue than anything else the UK media.
The premise that Sir Alex Ferguson has shared his plans to sell and then buy with an external party is ridiculous. The distraction this can cause to Celtic players is merely a by product.
Ordered the CQN Annual yet? Get it here in time for Christmas!
Those who comment on our game do manage to contort themselves sometimes. Sky TV convinced themselves Arbroath manager Paul Sheerin’s demonstrable angst at full time last night was in connection to his side’s disallowed goal. A less animated Paul then explained his actions were frustration at only having three minutes added time. If he wants to get more TV time he’d better follow the script – be angry at Celtic!
The moment Neil Lennon’s interview ended Sky cut across him to assure us Lassad’s disallowed goal was offside (which it was). They acknowledged Keddie’s arm around the neck of Fraser Forster for the Arbroath ‘goal’ but were unable to confirm this was against the rules.
Football rules are very confusing, after all, but the rules on how the media make money out of Celtic remain the same.
We have not discussed Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas for a couple of days. This single is going to position Celtic Charity and the 125 4 125 campaign in a prime spot across the nation. You and I need to get involved THIS WEEK to raise the profile as high as possible ahead of the Christmas chart.

It’s superb, but here in Spain all foreign wines are taxed to the hilt, so it’s just on the odd occasion we get it.
The last time was a few months ago, it was 6 euros a bottle a 2009, luverly.

I just don’t see anything in the shops here, I’m slowley working my way throught the different reigonal wines.
Christmas time here is amazing for good quality wines at great prices.
I bought 4 cases of a La Mancha 2006, called Ossaria, 4 cases was the max we were allowed, and at 1.99 euros a bottle it is superb value.
Going back for 8 more cases the morra, taking the wife wife me this time :>)
Sipping a small glass of Calvados from a bottle I brought back from France in 1996. It tastes like poison but it’s fair warming me up.
weemna67 will you fix it so they make them big enough to put the spaghetti in without first breaking the stuff in two and having spaghetti shrapnel all over the kitchen floor? :-)
Retsina rules.
Weeman67 – many happy returns, i suspected you might be in Florida:) when in Orlando i go to Total Wine, i find the staff very helpful in there.
Exiled Tim – Buenas Noches amigo; i’m still lashing into the Rioja, been drinking a brand called Beronia and another one called Lan. Can’t really get anything decent for less than 8 quid ish over here. Although i found a decent Italian Malbec called Spinelli for roughly a pearly diver / harold melvin:)
BT – I hope you are well amigo and wish you all the best for the Christmas holidays.
PFayr – same for you big fella; gota find me some Nero D’avola some time soon.

PF – used to really like the ST wine club, but it’s run by Laithwaites now and you don’t get the same value for money.
You will like the 15% red they also offer, El Bombero and the Aussie stuff Durif. My father-in-law likes Malbec that you can stand a spoon in, but they’re all too strong for me.
Pinot Noir for me!

Hail Hail…….. So it would seem MSM and Sevco supporters have swallowed Chicos patter.
No surprises there.
Hook , line and sinker.
They are so stupid it is incredible, Sevco will die like Rankers did.
May they burn in hell

Mind swing slow, and keep the left arm straight :>)

I can’t better that description.
So if any of you Coatbridge Bhoys fancy a reprise of your glue-sniffing youth, retsina is it in a drinking format.
Exiled Tim – I always remember post round:0) golf done here for the next 5 months.
