As six Celtic fans face the prospect of months in a Dutch jail if police evidence is preferred, take a look at this CCTV video from the Euro Pub in Dam Square:
This is no more than the strong bullying the vulnerable. It is shocking and affected more than just Celtic fans, other innocent bystanders were picked on.
What can you do about it? We’re looking for around 40 more bucketeers to collect before the Aberdeen game on Saturday for the legal defence of the six Celtic fans. You’ll need to get to the stadium a bit early, bucket shaking will be required. That’s all.
If you can help, email dambhoys8@yahoo.co.uk for more information. You’ll enjoy it.
Thank you.
Remember the Q&A in the Columba Club, Blantyre, tomorrow. I’ll be there with Phil Mac Giolla Bhain and Paul McConville. Tickets available at the door, we get underway at 8pm. See you there.
If you have not been to Celtic Park since the last home game, be prepared for pandemonium around London Road on Saturday. No one will be able to walk or drive from London Road up Kerrydale Street to the Park. Check out the open routes here and get there early.

Does anyone know who and where we are playing on the 8th February next year?
South Of Tunis
I bought a few wee bits, a couple of Bobby Hutcherson albums, a few Blue Note Jazz Japanese comps, a Ray Charles double, could have spent the whole half a mil yen on tunes, jazzzzzzz heaven..
If the MSM are right Celtics interest in Forde the Milwall goalkeeper age 33 would be a departure from the recent strategy of bringing in promising youngsters and getting a couple of seasons from them and then transfer them for big money.A player at the age of the Milwall keeper is unlikely ever to have an any value I wonder if this is just newspaper rubbish or we are going to change our strategy a little ? H.H.
Oops too quick with the send, thanks for the recos, I’m on it…

I know these images are shocking but they are not unique, sadly. For weeks the Turkish boot boys dished out the same treatment to innocent protesters in Iastanbul, with tear gas and rubber bullets as well.We ,well most of us can remember the scum attacking miners in the picket lines in a similar fashion. The Poll Tax riots in London.Every government has its “Pit Bulls”

Livibhoy,
If you have an online trading account you can buy individual shares (although you generally pay a transaction fee which would make this ‘strategy’ pointless).
Investing in football clubs is generally not a good idea – just ask your hun colleagues…
Ht,
Mail sent, a reply came and one with details to follow.
My daughter and her friend will also help out. HH
Dubaibhoy-”If I signed off the accounts it has been in good faith.”
I think that investing in Celtic at the current share price is worthwhile. I am taking a punt. I think that Celtic and their strategy is a sound long term investment. When and if we move to a European league the share price will rocket. I wouldn;t seel all the shares and maybe wouldn’t sell any. I would like to have some to pass onto my son but to attend the shareholder meetings and have a say in the club I need to have some shares and buying them in incriments is the only way I can afford to do this.
Investing in a toxic brand like Rangers/Sevco doesn’t even compare to investing in a well run business like Celtic PLC.

Joost in tae ask – how many buckets will the ‘bored’ fill up ?
Nah – dizny matter.
Take care Tims – Off oot.
If there are any of you still swithering about helping out with the bucket collection on Saturday, please watch the video at the top of the article again. Try and tell yourself that it doesn’t make your blood boil with anger at the treatment dished out to OUR fans.
We need around 140 people to man the turnstiles and go through the various match-day lounges….we’ve counted 73, as of this morning. It’s not enough!
The more money we can collect for the FAC Legal Defence Fund, the greater the level of assistance we can offer to the TEN fans and their families. Money for legal representation, travel and accommodation costs.
If you are genuinely in a position to make yourself available for two hours before the game, then please email dambhoys8@yahoo.co.uk
Helping your fellow Celtic fans achieve the justice they deserve?
It’s a no-brainer!

Go see a stockbroker or your bank and tell them you want to buy 100 Celtic shares.
If they charge a broker fee, which they will, you should get them for well under a hundred quid.
Good luck.
KevJungle – the club are bending over backwards to help this bucket collection. In fact, I’m just about to head ‘off oot’ to CP to pick up 83 buckets from the Celtic Charity Foundation.
Club security will be assisting us on the day and we’re getting access to club property to bag the money.
And…it’s the first time ever that anyone other than club employees have been allowed to do a bucket collection on the club’s footprint, i.e. inside/outside turnstiles, in lounges and approaches to the ground.
I take it you’ve already e-mailed dambhoys8@yahoo.co.uk to offer your assistance on the day…?

MILLWALL will not be able to stand in
David Forde’s way if Scottish champions
Celtic come calling, Den chiefs have
admitted.
Bhoys manager Neil Lennon has this week
been strongly linked with a move for the
Lions goalkeeper.
Celtic reportedly want Forde to replace
England’s Fraser Forster if he leaves for a
top European side next summer.
Forde has held talks with Millwall about
extending his contract, which expires in
June 2014, and the 33-year-old has said
he “would love to stay” in south London.
But chairman John Berylson said: “If
someone offers David an enormous
amount of money I cannot do anything
about that. He’s number one for Ireland
and has done an excellent job for us.
“Given the financial rules that are now in
place, there is only so much money we
can offer our players. David is one of the
higher-paid players in the squad, so he
isn’t getting beat up, but if in fact he
wants to go elsewhere, to a top club, he
would still be someone I have enormous
respect and admiration for.
“We will try our hardest to sign him up
but if someone offers him £25,000-a-
week, then it’s pretty unlikely that we will
be able to.”
Chief executive Andy Ambler added:
“We’ve sat down with Fordey and told him
we want him to stay, and we’ll be
speaking to him again over the coming
period.
“That said, the reality is if a Champions
League club is coming in and going to
offer him a contract, we’re not going to be
able to match that.
“At the moment David is still very much a
Millwall player and committed to us.
Celtic is arguably one of the biggest clubs
in world football – they play Champions
League football and Fordey is ambitious.
“If it comes to nothing, we absolutely
want David to stay at this club and we are
planning for the future with him in mind.”

Difficult one for the Club but I agree, they should contribute. Especially when there is recognition of people being wronged I.e.allowing collection inside the Stadium. Be great if they matched what we do Saturday.
I’ll be there with my bucket see you all there.
T-Break over…until we meet again…

Kev,
From what I gather, it’s a first to allow a collection for celtic fans to make a collection inside celtic park for fellow fans that have been wronged.
Get up there early and help out. I’ll even get you a ticket… Free gratis.
Philbhoy – Bring it on!!!!
Cheers mate.

Yeah – that’s all good stuff it has to be said.
But, here’s the thing – should Celtic fans be grateful for being allowed permission to carry out a collection – admirable though it may be – inside a stadium that THEIR money built ?
Do I – did I donate ?
Well ye see, when I donate to any good cause – I do so with honorable intentions.
I don’t do it to see my name in ‘neon’ lights.
HH
KevJ – I take it that’s a YES then? Can’t think of anything more honourable than helping these Celtic fans.
See you on Saturday at 12:30.

Top of the morning to you all from a Fife where autumn is showing her kinder side.
Dutch police not showing their kinder side on video above and it makes me wonder if the old SA Police that raided Sowetto and other townships simply transferred back to their old motherland! It is that bad.
I will be on bucket duty on Saturday and would add my voice to the call for a lorryload of bucketeers.
Say hello if you see me, those who know me describe me as tall, windswept, handsome gent in late years but having a sprightly gait and a dignified bearing.
eddiefromkirkmichael, who is to my knowledge the only CQN poster to have met me says I am a hackit, ugly old bloke or words to that effect but this is borne out of jealousy and should not be taken seriously.
