What can you say? Brilliant, brilliant finish from Griffiths. Comedy defending (nothing funny about it!) at the other end. A nothing game in the greater scheme, good to see another young defender making his debut. I don’t like to see Celtic lose, but this one I can take.
Looking forward to Sunday!

In all likelihood four of the starting eleven won’t be at CP next season, so why play them? Why not play Fasan instead of Bailly, Kelleher instead of Ambrose, Armstrong instead of Johansen, playing Izzy is fair enough as it was giving Tierney a rest.

Good answer. If you read what was posted on first two pages of this article and compare it with the last there is only one word to describe the reaction of some people : fickle. And there there are others who can’t wait to get their usual jibe in against the outgoing manager. Some you win…
I only looked in to CQN a few minutes ago. Who scored our goal? Obviously not Griffiths otherwise at least some posters would have mentioned it in the last few pages.

The reason RD etc won’t be here next year is the lack of quality of performance, with vastly superior resources, and the away fans have had to pay plenty big bucks to suffer watching pish like that.
Winning a one horse race is OK but the way you win it is important.
Our failings at home are forgiven but painfully exploited in Europe.
Hopefully Ronny and JC will take Efe and Johansen with them. Too many changes in that team tonight. I said I wouldn’t judge Christie and Allen on tonight’s performance but the same doesn’t go for the two culprits who caused the goals we lost.
Good to see Leigh get his 40th and a well constructed goal too but once again tonight showed that we rely too much on him.

I have so much sympathy for Efe.
All players make mistakes it just so happens most of his end up in the back of the net.
Love the guy he’s just got nae luck.
Don’t mind admitting I had a wee tear in my eye just now with Izzy waving goodbye. With a year left on his contract we must have sold him already. Shame, as the next manager may have fancied him more than Ronny.
Hopefully he plays at the weekend & gets a proper send off.
Hate losing. Dreadful defensive mistakes again, though their second goal was offside.
Never mind, end of season. Thought our Bhoys did well for the Hibeees last night. Include Stokes though he missed a sitter but played intelligently. Augurs well for Saturday week.

Was chatting to Alec Neil’s uncle last week, just after he had been down visiting him. Asked him if Alec would be coming to Celtic, he said Alec would take the job if he didn’t have children, who, in Glasgow would be subjected to abuse because of who their dad was, (or managed) I.e. Half of Glasgow hating you. Same thing Paul Lambert said a couple of years back, pre Ronny. Shame people have to be put off by Neanderthals.

Just leaving Perth. That is coming. I know it doesn’t suit your narrative but that’s the way it is.
A new manager is coming too and hopefully a new media strategy. If the last week has taught us anything it’s that there is a desire to have as little to do with the tabloids as possible.
Definitely too many changes. The game’s pace was far too slow, not enough urgency, no cutting edge. If it wasn’t for the seven changes I could put the defeat down to a typical end of season game.
Glad that this Season is all but done, on the whole we have been woeful over the piece but still end up Champions…go figure.

Well done to young Ralston on making his debut.

I feel sorry for Efe. Up till that fateful night against Juventus he looked like a player. In my opinion Lennon should not have played him in that game, whether Efe declared that he was fit or not. His confidence has never recovered. Just my opinion, but I think there was a player in there. He needs a fresh start.

Champions??? We came first in our one horse race. In reality, the league was a given before a ball was kicked. I am not being fickle. This has been my attitude at the beginning of the last four seasons. The season ended when we lost to in the cup to a side formed four years ago.

Just read Pauls earlier article about PLs ” statement” in that rag today……..UNBELIEVABLE , apologies off topic I know but cant let that pass without comment. Paul , serious question . What the hells happened to you and your blog ?? Im sure Im not alone in saying that Ive lost a lot of respect for you over the past couple of months , you are so obviously in your pal PLs back pocket , it is getting embarrassing. Do you really think its smart that our CEO lectures us from That paper. Sure we dont know the full story of what goes on but hey Celtic dont communicate with us. We are not idiots !!! we dont want to spend money that will put our club at risk but we do want the money we do have spent a helluva lot wiser . Stop “fannying about with projects” ( Kudos to Matt McGlone for that one) . Come clean on Res 12 , real issues Paul that need faced , man up and ask the questions . Your Packie Bonner article the day before PLs statement was quite a coincidence eh ?? Stop treating us like fools Paul , if I did nt know better Paul I would say that you and PL are softening us up for a Paul Hartley type of manager with very little transfer kitty andPL still pulling the strings . Celtic could get a fright with Season book renewals

But still shaking my head at the way we lost both goals.
My prediction of winning the league by 8 to 12 points remains likely.

Everton fans don’t want Moyes.
Sunderland relegate Newcastle ……..awe the shame.
Celtic have been demonstrably the best team in Scotland this year, so, the MSSM decide to deride the quality of our performances instead.
Vale Bhoy says:”The reason RD etc won’t be here next year is the lack of quality of performance,”
The MSSM , having never mentioned it when Rangers existed, now highlight our comparative wealth.
ValeBhoy says: ” with vastly superior resources,”
The MSSM mentions that , although Aberdeen apparently pressured us all the way, there was only ever one winner.
Vale Bhoy says: “Winning a one horse race is OK but the way you win it is important.”
The MSSM decides that, over the last two years, Europe is the only barometer.
ValeBhoy says: “Our failings at home are forgiven but painfully exploited in Europe.”
