Hard fought victory, St Mirren pressed us for most of the match and the weatherwas a big factor. Given the high probability of the influence of the weather pre match, I couldn’t see the logic in starting KI, not a player that is dependable in those conditions and away from home. having said that the 2 subs changed the game gave us the energy at the right time. Broonie & Big FF can take a bow today terrific performances.

Players deserve credit for digging that out.
Neil made a mistake with his initial selection. Think Stokes should have started, possibly also Commons. Ki just vanishes in these conditions, and Cha is a bit of a liability at times.
Today was a good example of our large squad getting us over the line. Also, 2 superb finishes. Course, Burley can only concentrate on supposed Saints defensive weaknesses.
Nice start to the weekend, hopefully Aberdeen can ignore the last 20% of their history, and actually get a result at the Death Star.
My MOTM was The Big Yin in goals. Broony and Joe runners up.
St Murn deserve a lot of credit, they played really well if a bit cynically at times. Gutted for Rogne, his performances of late should have been rewarded with what was a perfectly good goal.
Not often I congratulate the opposition but fair play to St Mirren’s players, with the exception of Imrie who was gash and is also a thug. I thought St Mirren were excellent today. A good performance from the also rans usually means they have limited us or them uns but offer little else. St Mirren played some decent stuff and made a few chances. Forster and two quality strikes were the difference today.
We look like champions. I like that.
Right, I’m an Aberdonian for the next two or three hours – see ya…..
Game very much as expected and still easy for me to see why NL selected just one up front.
The pitch is too narrow for football, and you can’t play on the deck as it bobbles everywhere, I’ve yet to see a good played there.
Consequently Sammi never got going, but when Forrest was switched to the right Celtic began to take control, by which time it was too late for the panic to have set in among the CQN fireside support.
A grinding difficult win against a team in our face, who scrapped and broke dangerously for Fraser Forster to demonstrate once and for all, he’s the man between the sticks for Celtic.
Well done Celtic, superb away win, text messages to friends who got a ticket for the game and went and supported the 17 point swingers.
Hail Hail

Good decision by Neil Lennon to keep James Forrest on the pitch. I thought he was posted missing and deserved the hook.
Broony good? bad? Debatable. Lenny sel good/bad? Debatable.
Officials tried to steal 2 points from us? Not debatable. They did try.
The cheating was every bit as important as the 3 points today. It proves we will need to be 2 goals better than everyone or we will be dropping points soon.
