In fact, had a think there, and believe the team has been shifted about to accommodate Scott Brown. I know I’ll be very hypocritical in celebrating our win, but feel this is something Neil really needs to stop doing. I’m not going to go on a Scott Brown-bashing rant, as it achieves nothing, but we accommodate him FAR too much when there are better options.

    Formations,formations…

Well,at least Lennie selected the correct keeper for today……

Or we could be experiencing a whole different feeling right now…

Those roast chestnuts are making you all fuzzy and complacent ….?

    ;-)

  3. Lads listening to clyde and they are still going on about jellyfish going, you have to ask why do they wan’t their top goal scorer shipped i ask.

  4. Scott Brown MOTM, a top drawer assist and a quality goal added to 90 minutes of chasing a crisp poke around in the wind!

Great result for Paul Lambert and his Norwich as well!

    Everywhere is green and white…

  5. Well done to the bhoys today. Thanks to all for the updates

To all the negative guys out there It is Neil’s job to pick the team and ours to support whoever he picks. Unfortunately there will be many more games like this between now and the end of the season. Standard fare against Celtic will be 10 men behind the ball and frustrate the players and THE SUPPORT. The MIB will also do their bit but like today we need to keep plugging away and the result will come. We have the squad to win every game left this season. Trust Neil. I think he has been superb since we gave him the jo. And is getting better by the day.

Well there you go. You and I (and indeed all our CQN comrades) have got our wish today. ..a championship-winning performance, i.e. when we are not playing well, we can still grind out a result.

I am in Glasgow Sunday 29th for Argent concert in O2 Academy (original line-up.) Let’s have a bevy and catch up on last 25 years in the “local”?

Naturally I’ll be looking for a ticket for the Falkirk league cup game.

  7. For the first time in ages the ref wasn’t the worst official on the field. That linesman was shocking today.

  8. What is the Stars on

Good win,not a great performance but 3 points in the bag

Got seriously good word for Black Mac in the 2.50 at Naas

  9. That was a sweat and a half, but agree with most posters KC looks leaner and made a huge difference when he came on, his link up play is excellent.

Broony had a great game, but big FF is the man- get him signed up now!

Ibrox will be like a morgue today, c’mon Dons show a bit of spirit and get in among them.

  10. By the way, see the way the press and media handle rangers and let them off every conceivable hook while pouring pressure on us – leave them to it. It has become a parody, a comedy, a joke that they are playing on themselves.

Let them to it. It gives us just one more reason to gloat, love it when we win, laugh when their team gets beat. Laugh at them, expose them but don’t let them anger you while they are covering up the emperors new clothes!

  11. Shortbread announce that as part of the official Sir David Weir Farewell Ceremony, Dame Kerry Te Kanawa will join forces with ‘comedian’ Alex Cameroon in singing an acapella medley of’ The White Cliffs of Dover and Old Terry’s Balls’………

    Emotional.

  12. You can see where the forum blethers were coming from.

Broonie should not have been in the line-up !!!

You would think that eventually they would learn to keep their big mouths shut.

    Well done, Celtic.

    Great win in impossible conditions.

  13. Played golf with my Aberdeen ST holder mate. He says Aberdeen have 4 or 5 of their better players missing today. Doesn`t look like any upset then.

    JJ

  14. Broonie MOTM for me for his relentless energy. goal and assist just piping Big Fraser.

Stokesy and Kris definately changed the game, well done Lenny for making the changes at the right time.

Officials were very poor, didnt even try to be subtle

  15. 67Heaven ... I am Neil Lennon..!! Tick Tock !! on

Any Celtic fan who doesn’t rate Scott Brown needs his heed looked………..and Im not talking about his wonderful goal (second best one he has EVER scored…..!!!) …….and how that referree didn’t that ‘hand ball’ penalty is beyond me……well, maybe not..!!………..in NEIL we trust (Forster….!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

  16. My Take on today’s game…..

Before signing another player get Big Fraser to put pen to paper….The big guy has proved his worth yet again and we need to make him permanent.

Up front,Hooper,Stokes and Commons should be in starting line up every game IMO. Sammi in reserve. This team is beginning to pick itself. Just a wee bit worrying that Lenny won’t let it settle but in saying that he made the changes today when he seen it wasn’t working.

Not being over confident but this league is ours…We own it!

  17. Agree with our manager, probably hardest game so far.

Dodds again refers to rangers as ‘we’ should have enough to get past them.

    share

Agreed but let them go they’re hurting and i love it.

  18. The Dandy Dons 5 bodies doooooooon for the match today.

Craig and Chic discussing – I’m not actually sure if the boul’ Craig is too dissappointed.

    Seriously.

Best we can hope for is ‘wee knocks’.

  19. Gypsies, tramps and thieves. A bit rich coming from folk from Paisley but ok. Is there any songs with lyrics around in-bred, ineligible, unemployed junkies? You know, fight fire with fire sort of thing….

Cue, condemnation from Celtic supporting Paisley dwellers.

  20. I think Ki is great at home, but on small tight bobbly pitches away he does retain possession but can tend to just pass from side to side….which is sort of what the other side is happy with.

Wanyama too was OK today but didn’t really get us going forward..whereas Brown did tend to try and connect with the forwards and wingers..

That said, when the conditions are like that its a bit unfair to judge players.

  21. St Mirren are a small-time club, who cares what they play/say over their tannoy?

The best they can hope for is to be the next incarnation of the Darnel…

  22. bankiebhoy

Lenny justs stated that Hooper will not be sold …

delighted with that comment even if it will cost me :¬))

  23. tommytwiststommyturns on

BSR – I’m sure you could have picked up a ticket if you’d gone along to the ground ! ;-)

FF MotM by a county mile.

    T4

  24. I read somewhere that the club had made a complaint to Strathclyde’s finest about that reptile Winters.

They should also ask St Mirren if there is any significance in that song being played when Celtic visit. (it would be easy to check on any other televised games at their midden)

If it turns out that the song is not played at any other game, action should be taken.

I had a look over at the cesspit, fallow fallow, and they have a thread congratulating the DJ.

  25. Can you imagine the rousing, call-to-arms, galvanising and inspiring speech, straight fromn the heart that Craig and ‘John’ will be delivering at the moment……………In the ‘Home’ dressing room.
